“From the first day I contacted them all the telephone calls were answered with courtesy and understanding. I can assure anyone that they have your best interests at heart. When I asked about transferring my pension they advised me to keep it where it was, it wasn't what I wanted to do so I carried on with the transfer. To be honest it took longer than I expected but I think that was down to my other provider dragging their feet. All the time though during the process every time I called them to ask about the progress of the transfer I was given all the information that was available to them. I was impressed by their customer service.”

“Yes, I was totally satisfied - in the beginning I knew I had to sort out my future savings/pension and I was totally baffled with all the hype around and so I gave Portafina a go and I have never looked back from start to finish they have helped me so much as it was a minefield with all the different pension/government plans and I must admit Portafina always did what they said they would do i.e. ring me back and they constantly kept in close contact with me at all time - which was brilliant - like one of the family!!!”

“Portafina has been an excellent company to work with. Throughout this transaction they have kept me informed of the progress as and when any developments occurred. There staff have been extremely professional and polite, dealing with any enquiries as soon as possible. “Well i kept ringing because it was taking along time. Then i rang *** they said they had an email from *** but nothing else. When i asked about the recalculation figure they said they donot do that and they had infact paid the pension directly to ***. It was paid on 6th June well over one month ago.\nSo whats been going on? Why did the last person i spoke to not have a clue what was going on? Why did he say we have to send you another declaration letter to sign. No recalculation took place therefore i should not be charged 2xÂ£***. \nHow much have you exactly taken for your fee? And why has *** had the pension for over one month and you did not know? Lots of unanswered questions. Ok i await your reply.”

“I was provided with a very comprehensive explanation of what was going to happen when changing my pension provider. This was then backed up with written details of what had been explained. The whole changeover was completed ahead of the expected time and my money was in my bank account with no problems. My only dissatisfaction is with the amount of commission that was paid,but I was informed about and agreed with this.”
