Perfect service! Shoes are brillant, like to order the burgundy once for christmas but they are not anymore on the site.....that's making me sad, what happend?

Dear Customer I am sorry to say that this style has been discontinued. However, the Loake Royal is a very similar style - with a different sole unit - you might want to have a look at that style. I was once told to never buy shoes or boots without trying them on, so ordering quality boots from 5000 miles away was a leap of faith. Every step was perfect from a great price, dealing with the excellent staff who quickly dealt with an issue with my credit card, to delivery door to door in six days, I could not be happier. They will have my business as often as I need footwear.

Very good communication when needed to resolve an issue with a delivery and customer service was always professional. Shoes are what you can expect from the description. Found a present in my parcel : shoe cream order was not available and a paste was put in replacement for free (cream not billed). I will order for my next English shoes for sure.

Absolutely perfect, excellent price, fast delivery, great service, this is by far the best shoe website I have experienced. I intend to buy all my shoes there in the future, and I know it sounds excessive.

When a pair of Sargent brogues became squeaky after very little wear and a very short period, Pediwear were able to take them back and ensure a rebuild and they are now excellent. And when I have ordered cleaning materials from Pediwear, the items have always come quickly and safely.

Great product selection but some of them are not in stock and the waiting time can be couple of weeks... Information about product availability - even at manufacturer level - should be communicated when placing the order. Outside of that, quick delivery, good customer service and the product are very good quality

In order to offer this choice we offer styles which we believe to be available from the manufacturer at short notice - usually within 24 hours to a week. Most of our customers appreciate the choice this gives then, and the slight delay for some styles is often not even noticed. We try to keep our website as up to date as possible, removing styles which are no longer available. Unfortunately there is no method by which we can show availability at the manufacturer at present. Incompetence, sending the wrong shoes after failing to tell me that the ones I had ordered were no longer available, and then requiring me to arrange for the return of these shoes at my cost in order to extract a refund from these tight fisted muppets. Never again - horrendous, condescending and lazy would sum up my view, Stephen Bentley offers the worst customer service of anyone I have ever had the misfortune to engage with.

Dear Customer Thank you for your review. I was very concerned to read about your views on our customer service - which is very important to us. I have taken some time to read through the correspondence and speak to Stephen about the matter. We are very sorry that we sent the wrong shoes to you. I can only imaging how frustrating this must be. Stephen has already explained the circumstances surrounding this mistake - and although it was very unusual ultimately it was our fault and we should have done better. I was quite relieved to read Stephen's email to you which was apologetic and explained circumstances. Not only did he apologise for the mistake he was also very apologetic about the fact that you would need to repackage and return the shoes to us. He also offered a sum to compensate you for your inconvenience. It is my impression that whilst you were understandably frustrated at receiving the wrong shoes, it was the misconception over the return which caused the most consternation. You were under the impression that we could simply advise DHL to come and package and collect the parcel. You have interpreted our failure to do this as poor customer service. Unfortunately, it simply is not possible for us to do this. Whilst we certainly were a little surprised at your objection to having to return the parcel yourself, we would not dream of denying you such a service if it was open to us - particularly for an incident where we were at fault. It might be interesting for you to consider that since 1999, you are only the second customer who has objected in this way when asked to return a parcel. In conclusion I apologise again for sending you the wrong shoes and the inconvenience this has caused. We certainly never set out to upset our customers but errors do occur and we endeavour to resolve these as quickly and seamlessly has possible. Having looked into this matter in detail I cannot agree with the polarised negative view you have portrayed. However we remain sorry to have lost you as a customer. Regards Mike Small Pediwear
