“Subaru SF Standard Height rear - a brilliantly economic solution to failed Subaru suspension - £276 for springs and struts compared to many times that figure for genuine Subaru replacement. My comments: Car rides well and feels fully sorted. Ride height is about 25mm lower than advertised, with approx 50kg in the boot, but empty fuel tank. If you want full ground clearance I would suggest that if you carry ANY load at all, let alone a heavy load, that you select the raised height option - I wish I had. The original strut top nut is 18mm, and allows access by a ring spanner and a hex key. The new top nut is 19mm - why?? - and cannot be accessed by a ring spanner and hex key, requiring a 'through-access' socket. The springs have an extra coil at one end only. Pedders Technical advise that they can be fitted either way up - but a note or website comment confirming this would have been useful. The Subaru top spring plate has to be re-used. This is weird and seems to slope in opposite direct to spring coils - just get used to it! Pedders could consider offering for sale - a through-access socket kit - & replacement rubber bellows protectors. Overall, thanks Pedders - one sorted Subaru!”

“ordered 35mm lift springs & hd torsion bars for a Mitsubishi shogun sport 4x4 . next day delivery arrived next morning. what a massive change for the better, sits higher , no lean in corners , stops a lot quicker, hardly any nose diving under braking. I am very impressed with Pedders suspensions, especially off road over rocky terrain with 150kg+ in the boot , no bouncing but good smooth articulation , no clanging or banging at all.”

“The suspension system itself is great, car looks fab and handles better than before and I enjoyed the ride then. The service and communication however leaves room for improvement. I ordered the parts with the knowledge it would be a couple of weeks before they would arrive. Was told a team member would let me know details when I placed my order. 3 weeks later I had to contact them to see where my parts were. They were dispatched shortly after. On arrival I booked my garage to fit them alas on arrival at the garage it became apparent that they had sent 2right hand struts instead of one for each side. This was rectified quickly when my garage contacted them, but still leaves me feeling some what deflated with the service.”

“Parts fitted very well. Car felt very good, though only 10 km driving behind... Rear saised about 40 mm. Very pleased so far. This all is after 255500 km and one change of absorbers(105000 km)”
