“Hola. Soy Nicolás, hace pocos días me enviaron una suspensión trasera para un Forester. Disculpen que no haya contestado antes, estaba esperando a que los montaran en el taller. Ya los han instalado y el mecánico no ha tenido ningún problema, ajustaban perfectamente. Tengo que decirles que estoy muy satisfecho con ustedes, cuando necesite otro repuesto para mi coche no tengo dudas de que se lo compraré a ustedes. Gracias y suerte. Un saludo Nicolás”

“Subaru SF Standard Height rear - a brilliantly economic solution to failed Subaru suspension - £276 for springs and struts compared to many times that figure for genuine Subaru replacement. My comments: Car rides well and feels fully sorted. Ride height is about 25mm lower than advertised, with approx 50kg in the boot, but empty fuel tank. If you want full ground clearance I would suggest that if you carry ANY load at all, let alone a heavy load, that you select the raised height option - I wish I had. The original strut top nut is 18mm, and allows access by a ring spanner and a hex key. The new top nut is 19mm - why?? - and cannot be accessed by a ring spanner and hex key, requiring a 'through-access' socket. The springs have an extra coil at one end only. Pedders Technical advise that they can be fitted either way up - but a note or website comment confirming this would have been useful. The Subaru top spring plate has to be re-used. This is weird and seems to slope in opposite direct to spring coils - just get used to it! Pedders could consider offering for sale - a through-access socket kit - & replacement rubber bellows protectors. Overall, thanks Pedders - one sorted Subaru!”

“First of all great service from Pedders UK, the parts where shipped to me in Austria no problems. A fast and friendly service. To the car / suspension Nissan X trail T31 92000km 215/60/R17 (full lift kit fitted ) The reason for the mod. was I am often on rough forest tracks for work and needed more ground clearance, particularly in the spring when snow can still be a problem in the Alps. You can picture it, still 3km to go and 200m of old snow on the track “it should make it!” until the underside drags and the wheels spin out and your bellied out. Time to get out the shovel, so here with the kit. Some figure; Pedders style measurements. Old springs F 67.5cm R 67cm Old springs loaded with 100kg in the boot F 68cm R 65cm Note the raise when loaded at the front. Pedders lift kit fitted F 70cm R70cm Pedders lift kit loaded with 100kg in the boot F 70cm R 69.5cm I am running 1.5° negative camber on the front and after 4500km forest track B roads alpin passes and German motorways can say it was well worth the purchase. The car now corners better than new and although the lift was not as much as I had hoped, what is noticeable is that the car rides allot higher off road due to the harder springs. The only negative thing is the red springs, black would have been nice, not so in your face! I am very happy with the result and would do it again.”

“5 out of 5 for Pedders. A lift kit was ordered for my x-trial T30 - Pedders were missing two springs and when I said I was under some time pressure (driving abroad) they ordered them by expedited shipment from Australia (at no extra cost to me!). The guys at Pedders were extremely helpful and great to deal with and kept me fully informed. The springs arrived in less than a week and I was able to get away as planned. The lift kit seems great quality. The car drives better than before (no roll and not too firm) and looks good (not too "extreme"). I do not usually leave reviews but credit where credit is due! Would recommend 100%.”

“ordered 35mm lift springs & hd torsion bars for a Mitsubishi shogun sport 4x4 . next day delivery arrived next morning. what a massive change for the better, sits higher , no lean in corners , stops a lot quicker, hardly any nose diving under braking. I am very impressed with Pedders suspensions, especially off road over rocky terrain with 150kg+ in the boot , no bouncing but good smooth articulation , no clanging or banging at all.”

“Ordered before 2pm and was delivered at 10am the followed day. Easy to install. Note the nuts on the top mount are 13mm on the pedders and 12mm on Subarus, but if that confuses you it might be better to leave this to the garage. The hardest part of the whole job was getting the outside bolts undone, it helped having a second pair of hands to do the top mount up whilst I held the struct in place. Now my Subaru Forester rides level and it's saggy rear has been lifted.”

“I bought Peddler replacement kits - springs and shocks - for my trusty Subaru Forester SF, which had self-levelling rear shocks, and had become 'saggy arsed'. They certainly'do what it says on the tin'. Original ride height is restored. Road holding and general handling is far improved. Consequently, all aspects of off-road performance are a lot better. One small possible negative, I've had them fitted three days ago, but the ride seems a bit too hard, certainly less confortable.Perhaps I had got used to the soft knackered ones. We'll see. I called Peddlers a couple of times to check on a few things. They were helpful, friendly and knew their products. Recommended as an easy, good quality bolt on replacement that will save you a fortune over Subaru spare part prices.”

“First time using pedders and the company were very helpful and knowledgeable. The kit I bought was here the very next day and was all as described. The conversion kit saved me over £1000 if you don't fit it yourself you can easily still save £500 (Hyundai Santa Fe, 7 seater) self levelling conversion.”
