“Difficult to get to correct consistency to enable mascara to stick to eyelashes. When I did manage to apply mascara, I was unaware for hours that it had run down on to face. It never dried. Every time you touch eyelash mascara ends up on finger. Waste of money. Back to regular mascara. Wish I had taken a photo of my eyes.”

“Does stop sweat and deodorises, although smell isn't great. However everyone in my family ended up with a rash from it so now throwing 4 deodorants away”

“Organic whipped face cream - Rose Geranium & Patchouli 50ml - mature skin I normally love Peace With the Wild products but was really disappointed with this product. I dont like the texture and it leaves a greasy feel on the skin. Not easily absorbed.”

“Not impressed with cost vs the size, when you compare "The BodyShop", Shaving Cream. The product does the job but it runs out fast, although nicely presented in a small tin. I agree the size is in the promotion but it isn't cost effective enough. I want an ethical product which is effective which this is, but the weight to cost ratio is very high compared to the BodyShop item. I won't be using buying again.”

“Bought a bee friendly seed bomb a gift. It was a bit underwhelming versus others I have seen both in terms of size, quality of presentation, and the fact that the seeds were all falling out as I unpacked it. Great idea, nicely marketed, but sorry to say I would not recommend or buy again.”

“I ordered whipped face cream and whipped hand cream. I found both products quite greasy and they do not absorb as well as the much cheaper ones I usually use. I will not be ordering again.”

“Bought a coconut coir soap rest and it is much smaller than I thought thereforenis overpriced. Also paid almost two pound for delivery but the weight was as light as a feather and dimensions of the package were so small I don't really understand why it was so expensive. Even then the packaging was squished.”

“The products arrived on time and were well-packed, but that was the best thing about them. I was shocked at how tiny the bottle of shower product was, more like a tester size for the price one would expect to pay for something much larger. The lemon and lime scented soap on a rope smelled of nothing while the neroli scented soap on a rope stunk the house out, it was so strong. These products are hideously overpriced. Never again.”

“Love the idea of plastic free floss and packaging. Unfortunately the floss is really rough and weak. It get caught between my teeth and I find it really hard to floss it through. And cos it’s weak, it snapped and all the fibres get caught together with the food in between the teeth. I gave up after 5 times. I have 2 full bottles but might not continue using it, I’m afraid.”

“Bought reusable Bamboo Kitchen Towel only to find that it is 10% polyester according to the packaging. I have not yet used this because as far as I know polyester is not good for environment hence the reason I bought the towels. I have double checked the information provided on-site and it only states bamboo and wood fibre. I have disposed of the packaging and I cannot view the whole packaging online to verify my problem. It would be good if someone could confirm or deny this information please.”

“So.. The consistency was okay, a little crumbly even with a drop of water (only a wee drop mind you). It applies very well, and builds well. I wasn't disappointed with the level of volume etc that I got, and it applied well to work as an eyeliner. However, I'm not sure what happened, but even in a non intensive day at the desk I managed to get little dark rings under my eyes. Nothing weird or strenuous in my routine, but for some reason it went under my eyes. At first I thought it was jut product that came off my lower lashes as I'd applied some there. The next day I tried only applying the mascara to my top lids. Still ended up with panda eyes with extra time spent clearing off an reapplying makeup. I tried not adding a dab of water, and only applying to my top lashes. Still got panda eyes. I don't think I have watery eyes, it's not a case of leaking everywhere, just the natural 'eye lubrication' that happens. I've heard some women say they used to use a little dab of saliva to apply cake mascara in the 60s, so I'll try that and update later, but given the number of attempts I've tried with the same results I don't think I'll buy again. It's a shame because I was really on board with the low/ no waste option, and it applied well but it just didn't have much staying power unless my aim was to look like a panda.”

“Unfortunately, the slice of green lunch box ordered, which has two clasps to secure the lid. One works fine and the other can't be used as its extremely hard to unclasp it, and when you finally can, your lunch contents have spilled out everywhere. Also the really handy smaller box which is super helpful, fitting inside, the lid (which doesn't have clasps) doesn't slip off as designed; it is ridiculously hard to get off. Even I as an adult have to get red in the face trying to do it, and so of course anything inside is spilt. Such a shame as I'm a big fan of the stainless steel products, they wash beautifully, dry quickly, great for the environment. Just not slice of green products unfortunately.”

“Bought the roll of non paper towels. Great to use but shrank considerably in the wash 🙁 and I washed at correct temperature. Won’t buy again”

“Conditioner smelled nice but it left residue in my hair that doesn’t wash out clean no matter how long I rinsed. I also have a straight fringe so it also made my face feel more oily after. Had to switch to a different shampoo and conditioner after a few days, as my hair felt dirty and oily after washing.”
