Not given the option of 6 stars or above but deserves so much more... An absolutely brilliant afternoon was had. Our hostess was an accomplished Thai chef and immediately put us all at ease, it was informal and friendly and highly educational and who would have thought we would be able to cook , with some degree of competence, authentic Chicken Satay, Beef Massaman curry and a Chicken and Ginger stir fry, all from scratch and with our very own hands ? The atmosphere was congenial and the food was good ( Even if we do say so ourselves ). The experience was a Birthday gift for the OH and he loved it, I loved it and am guessing by the friends we made on the day... they loved it too. Highly recommended and we will be back. Thank you so much !

The Thai chef (Jirapan I believe) was very helpful right through the lesson and encourage us all to try everything ourselves. We all ended up with 3 very nice dishes and a glass of Chilean Sauvignon blanc to wash it down with too. I would recommend the course to others too. With Regards. Mike.

A great afternoon with Jirapan - lots of opportunity to try our cookery skills and lots of tasting. Eating what we had cooked at the end of the class was great. Our food at home has tasted very dull ever since.

Excellent communication, especially as I booked last minute. Very easy to find if you follow the directions. Parking an ease. All of this already makes this a relaxing experience. I love Thai food and have Thai friends so am a bit spoilt , however I still learnt loads particularly about the chopping and use of ingredients.I have been wasting so much Lemon grass for years! I've always wanted to know how to cook Tom Yam soup (my favourite) from scratch and its so easy and yum! I met lovely people, the kitchen was a delight (very jealous) and the chef Excellent. I was so inspired I drove back to Basingstoke to try to buy banana leaves immediately ..for any locals this was achievable in Londis opposite the station ( great selection but it looks like a dodgy new agents but inside it has everything), There is also an very friendly Nepali shop in Basingtoke at the top of town and they sell lime leaves etc . Thank you, I would return

This was a birthday present and a superb one! I enjoy Thai cooking and have Thai friends but still learnt loads of tips . I've always wanted to cook Tom Yum soup from scratch and it was so easy but so delicious. Everything was great and the directions easy . Gorgeous spacious kitchen and wonderful chef. I'd return . I live in Basingstoke but managed to get banana leaves, lime leaves and nam prik pao in Londis opposite the station ! Thankyou for a lovely morning and thankyou to my fellow cook novices who were lovely

Fabulous host, extremely knowledgable and executed more than what was on the tin. Very personal touch, even though in a party of six. Will be booking for further courses, we all had a good giggle as well as learnt new skills. Also the food we made together was restaurant quality!!! Whether you are a novice or a skilled chef, by god please take a lesson. If not only for the hosting skills, then for a dam good feed!!! 12 out of 10👍

The class was really enjoyable, informative and easy to follow. Jirapan is a great teacher with an amazing wealth of knowledge and experience. My husband and I both signed up to the course. My husband doesn't do a lot of cooking but he felt confident under Jirapans lead and joined in with enthusiasm.Having not had a lot of personal experience with Thai cooking it was the perfect introduction and I feel confident in trying the recipes that were sent home with me, on my own in my kitchen! The premises was excellent and very well appointed with lots of room for everyone to be involved. There are also lots of different options you can sign up for and I am confident we will return.

The class was everything I had hoped for and more. Jirapan is lovely, so welcoming, and has so much knowledge to share. I learned loads and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon, and the amazing food we cooked. I will be recreating all the recipes at home for sure! Thank you for welcoming us into your beautiful kitchen, and for a great experience.

Jirapan gave us a great experience. Her passion and enthusiasm for her native cuisine made the afternoon an enjoyable and memorable class. All 3 dishes were inspiring and delicious, as we cooked I learnt so much about Thai ingredients and dishes. All the food tasted great and we were lucky to enjoy eating in such a beautiful home with a nice glass of vino bianco :) A great gift from my dearest friend. Well done Jirapan, keep up the great work!

Had a great time, Jirapan is a great teacher and has an amazing space for cooking. Before we started cooking we got familiar with all exotic spices and vegetables, it was great to touch, smell and taste them as it really helps to appreciate the flavors in the dishes. At the end of the class we all sat at the table, had wine and all the food that we cooked. Jirapan's classes aren't just great for cooking but making friends too.
