“The course was run by Jirapan who is Thai, so the food we cooked was very authentic. It was a hands on course cooking 3 dishes, which you eat at the end. It was a relaxed and fun atmosphere to learn in. There were som any tips we learnt about Thai cooking along with which are the best ingredients to get. If you want to cook extremely good Thai food at home, then these are the courses for you. They are extremely recommended!!”

“The flavours and smells just went on and on, getting better and better. The whole experience invoked memories of my visit to Thailand years ago. Learning how to make the meals from raw ingredients rather than packets was amazing. Defintely going to try out the menus on my family. Looking forward to the next experience. “Really enjoyed the afternoon, Jirapan was so welcoming and great at sharing her knowledge and telling funny stories. It was so interesting to learn more about the food and culture in a very professional kitchen, of course the best bit was eating our lovely food at the end. Just about to have another go at the stir fry, I have definitely got a lot more confidence with Thai cooking now, my favourite food in the world!!! Thank you for your hospitality Jirapan.”

“Go.........you will not be disappointed. Fabulous in every way. Excellent teacher in Jirpan, she was so calm and informative, felt like we had met many times before, but we had not. Great explanation of the food and ingredients. The most important part, is obviously the food. It was delicious. 10 out of 10. Great value, great teaching, great food. Thank you!”

“It was a fun, interesting and a relaxed atmosphere. I learnt lots of new tips, and great that we could eat our food at the end and take the menu home, so we didn't have to take notes. Would definitely recommend!”

“A wonderful fun filled afternoon spent with Paya gave me a real incite into the wonderful food of Thailand and how simple it can be to prepair. This is a hands on coarse where your involved in every aspect of the final dishes giving you the confidence to replicate restaurant quality food in your own kitchen. Paya is very friendly and made the small group feel relaxed and welcome in her home. Recomended gift for anyone who enjoys their food. Thankyou Paya.”

“We were made very welcome - the house where the classes happen is stunning (read the directions on the instructions though!). The class itself was a nice mix of demonstration and doing it ourselves. The main benefits for me were the special tecnhiques demonstrated (for example how to cut beef so it doesn't go tough when you cook it) and the explanations about flavours. The food we made was absolutely delicious. I've since made it all at home and while it wasn't quite as good (if I was as good at it after one class as she was she'd be out of business!), it was really tasty and went down very well.”

“I have been to a number of cooking days and Jirapan' Thai cooking course was one of the best. With many, you do not feel that you will be able to replicate the dish at home but with her hands on lessons, simplistic approach and explanation of what we are cooking, the spices we are using and why we are using them allows you to understand the dish and gives you the confidence to recreate the food at home. No better way to spend a raining Saturday afternoon. Will be back for some more dishes soon. Highly recommended.”
