“I buy all my OS plans from Buyaplan because I find the site easy to use. My only comment is that on the screen the red boundary line is easy to see, but when the actual plan is downloaded the red line is fairly faint, which is difficult to see. The thinner line also occasionally doesn't seem to be quite in the right place, the fatter line had covered plotting discrepancies. With small sites, I need to plot the boundary lines at 1:200 or 1:500 to get the cross lines in the right place, but the website doesn't suggest this.”

“Very easy site to use - just pop in the postcode and hey presto up pops your plan with boundaries all nicely marked up ( if you chose not to self mark in). Will definitely recommend and use again for any future requirements.”

“I couldn't amend any of the lines I had drawn which was a shame, as I couldn't find anywhere to do it. Is this possible before you purchase the plan, as I don't want to spend some money on something that isn't correct because I couldn't amend it. Cheers Jamie Cambridge”

“The basics were there but very little information. The plans didn’t even have our own house number on so for what we paid for both plans we were a little disappointed. As we don’t have a printer we couldn’t even print off and add further details. However, it was sufficient for us to send our application to the council.”

Thanks for the enquiry. In some areas it may not be possible to fit two street names due to the way the Ordnance Survey mapping has been created and not all of the houses feature the house number. Our plans (PDF version only) also show an OS grid reference (an easting and northing) which will help locate the planning office into the exact location thereby negating the need for street names. We recommend contacting your planning office to explain this as the alternative is to manually add the number on after printing it out.

Thank you for taking the time to provide a review. You can outline the area that you want using the manual tool provided. You will not find OS Mastermap for free anywhere as it is copyright protected. We do not charge for the lines to be created, the charge is for the actual map.
