Dear Moira, all OS map providers have a 1 year expiry license and then you can purchase additional license years separately if you need to. It is standard with OS mapping. “BuyAPlan has a very good service for buying plans in a straightforward process, with clear instructions and costs. I'd prefer the option to select a scale in between the defaults, though this doesn't detract from the speed of delivery and the convenience of the service.”

“The website is quick and easy to use, the downloaded plan is of no use whatsoever; just appears as a square despite clicking A4 size, no scale bar so can't check it's printed to scale, so £13+ wasted. Had to click 1 star as couldn't give anything less!!”

Hi Andy, we are sorry to hear your experience was not what you expected. Please note that all of our plans have a scale bar at the bottom left of the map. The plan should cover an entire sheet of A4 if printed at 100% size. The map portion however is only a portion of this otherwise the scale would not be correct. We also need to display copyright information, location and licence details. Please drop us an email at support@buyaplan.co.uk and we'll do our best to assist you. I hope this helps.

“For someone that is not very computer savvy plus a little practice I was able to achieve printing out the plans I required. Very much a bit of trial and error for an 80year old. Certainly up market from requesting OS maps.”

“An easy site to negotiate and prepare for issue of Plans as required based upon own points of reference in Post Code terms. Cost element is a rapid multiplyer as scale increases however.”

“Very easy to use, so I use them every time I need a location plan or block plan for my planning applications. One thing that could be improved is the map title, which would be better for my work if it automatically added "Location Plan 1:1250" or "Block Plan 1:500", along with the site address. Because I have to manually add this every time. I would also like a measuring tool so that you can add distances to boundaries on the block plan.”
