Really impressed with how simple the processes. Clear easy to follow instructions. Would definitely use again.

A site that is very easy to use, and you get your map immediately. Excellent for people that are not using an agent to apply for planning permission.

Relatively straightforward, but it would be good to clarify that you can't add boundaries etc until you have committed to buy.

What is a point when you can send e-mail to customers and your side is no reply...what a useless customer service. The problem is, I have been forced to buy from you, where I can't find others offer the same service. I am sure many of your customers will have the same experience as me. Even my husband who is an architect he used to do before, but different purposes. He is now retired, without his help. I would go no where to get the map. This is how your system for new user like me. To improve your total service delivery.... You should put more words to explain for new user to understand and to follow and you should do research what UK, Scotland needs for each permission ie. Click line for Permission for advertisement sign. You should tell the user that generally...the council will need....then click, click to follow. Your system don’t provide help in the way. Your system is not suitable for new user because lack of clear information to follow. It is suitable for those who use all year round. They know what to click. You should put telephone contact clearly in every page for those who have difficulties after they have paid. This is not good enough, customer paid then faced problems. They spend ages to sort out solution. If you can get money easily from customers, you should think more of customers. Yours sincerely, Ru ................. Bought a plan recently for cm1 in Chelmsford which is good clear and in colour. However, looked at a plan for Cm26lr ,37 shrublands close ,and it's pretty much useless as the site boundary /fence is not shown at all and does exist because I visited the site. Regards Marcus Harwood RIBA

I looked at 3 recommended sites for my planning permission and found this one to be the clearest and easiest to use.

Plans were clear and downloading easy, but we'd been told we needed a 1:100 SITE PLAN and the nearest available was 1:200. That could easily be remedied, surely.

Dear Customer Thanks for the reply. As you can see from the Planning Portal guidance, the plans can be 1:100, 1:200 or 1:500 (see http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/uploads/1app/maps_plans_and_planning_apps.pdf). We don't offer a 1:100 plan as it would mostly just consist of a few lines and would not show a typical house and garden in its entirety. Hope this helps.

£25 for 2 virtual plans? this doesn't represent good value to me. £8.00 buys a beautiful, high quality physical OS map with a digitised version as well. Your service is incredibly overpriced. I hope that there is some market shake up that brings the prices down to something that is more reasonable. I am so disappointed with what you produced for the money asked. Sorry that I have nothing good to say Darren dot sleeth at virginmedia.co.uk

Dear Dareen, thanks for the feedback however the plans come from the Ordnance Survey and you'll find the pricing is roughly the same from all suppliers. You can get less detailed plans for less cost but they won't be acceptable for planning applications. Hope this helps.

I ran into one difficulty, and that was drawing an outline of the property concerned on the map. The lines kept deleting themselves. Also, I had difficulty in outlining the particular building to which the application was relating to.

Easy to use website Plan delivered quickly Reasonable price Would be better with a proper invoice rather than just an email with the invoicing details, no big deal just a personal preference, that's the only reason for not 5 stars.

Very good service. I needed to use the editing tools (blue and red lines), and these worked well. I had a question and it was answered very quickly. It would have been great if I could have added numbers to my plan, but other sites I checked did not have this tool either. Once I had bought and saved the pdf I was able to add numbers with the pdf editing tools, so that's worth knowing.

Tha plan is out of date (but I checked with planning and they say it is adequate for their purposes). It does not include some adjacent land we purchased in 2001, which was recorded by the land registry at the time but which is still shown separately. Nor does it reflect major alterations to our house in 2012, all of which passed through normal planning regulations so should also be reflected.

Dear Customer Thanks for the feedback. Our mapping is provided by the Ordnance Survey and in rare cases their mapping does not reflect recent changes. Unfortunately all mapping providers use the same source so I suggest you contact the OS to see if they can add this change in. Hope this helps.

The Lambeth council needs site plans at 1:100 or 1:200. The site confusingly calls these block plans and location plans site plans. Other issue, when you buy a Location plan. You have to be sure to mark the building or is it the block or both? Don't get this wrong. Strangely, there are hard rules for this and you think the site could help you better on this.

Dear Fred, thanks for the review but we're a bit confused by this. We do supply plans at 1:200 scale. We do have a tool so you can outline your property like all other suppliers. We don't know which building or property is yours so it's best the customer marks their plan, we cannot do this for you. Can you perhaps clarify what you mean? Much appreciated.
