part had been marked up with part number ect after cleaning off could still see it burnt into plastic used two clips of it and repaired mine

Bought the part and 5 days latter nothing arrived. Rang supplier everyday and no one knew what went wrong or the part is. Ended up cancelling the order to get my money back.

Ordered alternator off company called HEYBROOK AUTOS , TOLD PART WAS IN STOCK, SENT IT TO ME THE PART WAS DIFFERENT TO THE ONE ORDERED, SO ASKED FOR REFUND. IT TOOK 3 WEEKS AND ENDLESS PHONECALLS TO GET REFUND BUT THEY ONLY REPAID ME FOR THE PART BUT STILL CHARGED ME DELIVERY & VAT EVEN THOUGH THEY SENT THE WRONG ITEM IN THE FIRST PLACE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Firstly, the website asks for the Registration number of the car. This is a unique number and the website then identifies your car. It suggests companies to supply your exact part. I paid £60 for a wing mirror and it is not even the right colour, Im still waiting on my mechanic to tell me if its in fact the correct wing mirror.

Disappointment from start to finish. Had to use a premium rate number to contact supplier who did not have the parts claimed as stock on the website. Parts which were offered were at a price higher than manufacturers new. Scam!

Ali motors took my money and made excuses for five weeks in the end I got my money back, very poor customer service too.

Every part quoted for is the wrong one, do these companies not check what they are quoting for, it would be so inconvenient to buy the wrong parts and having to return them. Reg. no. is supplied it is not hard to check and supply the correct part, if you don't have it let someone who has one quote for it, don't quote for an estate boot lid when i have clearly said it's a convertible.

Astra wing mirror only two prices quoted both for the later model and both prices at least double that of almost all other suppliers.

I have paid £650 for the gearbox which supposed to delivery in 2 days, took 4 weeks and when I payed £600 to fit the gear box they realised there is a faulty with gearbox and doesn't work. Now they even don't take responsibility.

I put in the details of my car and the part required and then got a match from a supplier. but when the part arrived (light lens) it was the wrong one. I called them and they did not have the right one and said they would give me a refund once I posted the lens back to them, but this would be at my own cost. when I asked why they said that there were 2 different lens types in the year in question and I had not specified the one I wanted. But how was I supposed to know this? Surely the supplier should have asked if he knew there were 2 different types for models of my car made in the year in question. Very poor service and a cost to me that I should not have to pay, so will not be using you again.

You have sent the wrong part, I ordered a parcel shelf for my car, I was sent a parcel shelf for a different car. I ordered a specific part, but I was sent something different, something I have never ordered, therefore, I cannot be expected to pay to return an item that I never ordered. I would like a refund, and I would like the company to arrange collection of the wrong part that I have been sent. If I had changed my mind, then of course I would pay postage costs, but I never ordered the item I was sent. At the time of ordering you had the number plate and all the information required to identify my vehicle, indeed, I can confirm that you had correctly identified my car. Importantly, for a purchases to occur, there must be a contract of sale, and this contract of sale is bound by the vendors terms and conditions. You have though sent me a part that I have never ordered, and there, no contract of sale for this part has ever existed, as I never ordered it. As there is no contract of sale, you cannot intact your terms and conditions. To put is simply, If you ordered a pair of shoes and I mistakenly send you a 2 tonne safe, then it is my responsibility to collect the safe as the only contract of sale that exists is for shoes. I would like a refund my money, and in addition, I would like you to arrange for collect of the part. I will give you 14 days to complete the refund and collection, if this is not done within this time, I will have no option but to take this to the small claims court. Many thanks William Price-James

Parts gateway have either been hacked or are selling their customer details. The details sold include name, email address and full location with post code etc. Do not use parts gateway if you value your privacy. The privacy statement on their web site is obviously false and misleading.

Replacement front indicators were in a worse state than mine, which are on advisory. Returned, full refund, but I am still out of pocket for £3.90, return postage. Why the hell should I have to pay for returning crap, they should be in the bin.
