Engine was cheap, but delivery wasnt as stated, engine was supposed to arrive by the tuesday at the latest but arrived on the Friday, mechanic had turn down work to do engine job and lost out on money because they couldnt get the engine here in the specified time frame, engine is also knocking and very loud and its not even finished being bedded in yet

I am self employed Automotive Technician, I recently purchased few items from Hygrade motor spares through PartsGateway. They sold me driver's electric window switch pack with a defect, and a light switch stalk without the function of front fog light despite giving the seller all relevant information.

Totally messed up my order, even when I gave them a week to deliver. Cost me in extra costs and missed my garage appointment, the part was decent quality but the service rubbish.

Used 1st Choice car spare via parts Gateway for a headlight item received damaged. Was given the complete runaround by them. Had to use a Paypal claim to get a refund, postage return was at my cost. You would do well to avoid.

I bought turbocharger, it is not good at all what you send and I lost my money. Iam very sorry about that if your selling this spate parts.

Slow initial communication from the breaker's yard, Blackstone Breakers. Eventually confirmed that the part was what I needed after a few days. Bought it, and they then confirmed that they had damaged it in storage overnight, showing me a photo of a chipped edge, which was only cosmetic, with a £10 refund, so OK. Then delivered it with ludicrous terms that you have to open the parcel and decide whether or not you wish to reject it on the doorstep. Doesn't exactly seem legal as well. Given that mine was left on the step, not exactly practical (plus, have you ever met an Evri driver who had time to stay while you inspected car parts?) Turns out to be pretty much knackered and nearly as bad as the the part I was replacing. Can't be bothered to chase up £20 but I can be bothered to warn anyone off Blackstone.

After 9 days I am still awaiting delivery,no notification of parts on the way, no parts.

Not impressed. I had to order the part twice. The first seller said they had the part, I paid and they then got in touch and said they didn't have it after all. They were polite and apologetic and refunded my money. The second seller (Ted4 parts) confirmed that the part was fully working but when it arrived was the wrong part. I am in the process of negotiating a refund. This has wasted a lot of time and does not inspire me to use Parts Gateway again.

I placed an order via website with 1st choice car spares on the 19th of December it's now the 27th of December and I haven't received my parts they also contacted me to tell me it would be an extra £15 for the part I needed as the one they quoted on wasn't the correct part I've texted them three times no reply I paid the extra money on the same day they text me for it

I placed an enquiry for a specific part number and Darryl told me they had one in stock. I should have smelled a rat when no picture was forthcoming. However, I was assured they had the correct part so I took him at his word. Before paying I messaged to say if when they pick the part was found to be incorrect to please inform and refund immediately. I sat back having paid to find the part shown as dispatched and thought great. After a couple of days I received a sales call from All Parts Prestige via a different breaker platform offering the same part number. Having been told originally they only had one in stock at this point I knew they were just taking money falsely. I asked the chap to confirm the original part had been sent and after a short wait he came clean and said no, and that they didn't and never had,had the part let alone two. This caused me unnecessary delay and meant the car could not be moved. I then had to hope the refund would be honoured which fortunately it was. My advice would be if you must deal with them insist on upfront current date pictures of the part. Perhaps I was just unlucky but I doubt it. I felt and was totally duped.

Not very good, the correct details were given including the Honda part No but I was sent the earlier lamp. I called to query this and was told that’s the only lamp we do. No apologies and when I asked how I got my money back I was told a return note would be sent. I’m still waiting.
