“Actual car park was fine close enough to airport. However on the way back from the airport I rang to be collected, we waited outside the airport. 10-15 minutes later I got a call saying the van was there across the road. The driver was extremely rude “do you want to tell me why you were over there instead of here. It’s not that hard.” I was taken aback after first assuming he was joking then quickly realising he was not by the stern, miserable look on his face. Didn’t appreciate the unnecessary attitude which I assume he felt was acceptable due to us being two young girls as I imagine he wouldn’t have had that tone with a man.”
“I'm assuming you're the online service that organises the booking. That was fine, though I'm not sure the £2 fee was adequately flagged up at the start of the booking process. A company was recently fined for not being transparent about this.”
“Everything went well from parking up, transfer to T2 through to collection back at T2 and car park departure.
Some confusion over my car keys as when past security at the airport I realised that I still had the keys (nothing could be done at that stage!), however, everything worked out OK in the end. Perhaps it's a new company policy! Very likely to use Parking up again some time.”
