Awful SIM card. Constantly loosing connection, data not consistent, location tracking is inconsistent. This SIM card has caused me so much stress. We will be requesting puc code and getting a traditional SIM card. Will not be using for our other two children.

Hi Esther, Sorry to hear that you've been having trouble. I've looked into your account and can see that you have daily data budgeting enabled, and the daily cap has been reached each day. It’s functioning exactly as you set it up to do. Had you informed our team, we would have suggested turning off data budgeting if that’s not the behaviour you prefer, or upgrading to a plan with more inclusive data that better suits your usage patterns. There is also the 'add data for location tracking' button to add extra data free of charge, so you can always locate the phone, even if the allowances have been used. Hi Andy, I can see you spoke with Paul on the 18th. You had bought a locked phone on Ebay and we extended the first month so you wouldn't pay anything until you had got the phone unlocked. The SIM definitely does work, but will only work in a working, unlocked, phone. Will left a voicemail this morning. We'll cancel the billing for now and just give us a shout if you get the phone unlocked and still want the SIM.

Hi Jane, £9.99 is the same price as when you ordered it just a few days ago, and given that you called us to cancel it before we had time to set up the Direct Debit, and you hadn't opened the SIM pack, you were never charged anything. Why you felt the need to leave a one star review here is questionable.

I am unsure why this sum is for children. It doesn't stop the phone from accessing unsuitable material, it doesn't alert the parent if that happens. I will cancel my account after 1 month and revert to a normal sum company.

Hi Samantha, I can see you have never logged into the ParentShield Portal to set any controls, or set any alerts, or checked any of the activity on the SIM. We provide loads of tools, loads of support, and loads of features but if you don't want to use them, there is little we can do! You also have chosen a plan with no mobile data so any problems you are having will be down to the phone settings you have applied yourself. We are available on 03301221180 if you need a hand. We'd always fully refund anyone who bought something that wasn't for them. A one-star review is completely unwarranted when all you had to do is actually use the thing you bought.

Until now my daughter number can't use without WiFi or tethered to my mobile data.

Hi Ria, we called you 6 times trying to help, and emailed at least three times but you didn't take any of our calls or reply to any of our voicemail messages. All you would have needed was a simple settings change on the phone probably but without you making any effort on your part it's impossible for us to help you any more than we did. You can see from the general tone of other reviews here that we will walk over hot coals and do anything we can to help any customer who will accept it.

I’ve been asked to write a review. I’m still waiting for the blooming thing! It’s been since last Tuesday and should have come by the end of the week. I’ve given up and gone with O2 who managed to get the SIM card to me in two days! Thankfully they have cancelled it. I do wish it had arrived in time so I had time to try it out and make a more informed decision. But we have fallen at the first hurdle.

Thanks for letting us know and we're really sorry the SIM has been delayed in the post. We have refunded the payment made of course, and please accept our apologies. Currently, all the SIMS are posted same-day by First Class post, and we're reviewing this in light of the recent experiences through the pandemic.

The card wont accept calls from anyone, including both mum and dad whose numbers are on the safe list to be able to get through at all times, have reported a number of times to no avail, have now cancelled

We have very few problems like this. It's almost always a symptom of either faulty phone hardware, or a user who habitually lets the battery go flat. We did send a replacement SIM and advised trying it in another phone, but didn't get any further feedback. Sorry we couldn't do any more in this case.

I gave 10 pounds on the card did not give me the points on the site and the card does not work either
