“I was very impressed with the service I got from Parcel Direct. Firstly the very competitive price, which was my first reason for choosing Parcel Direct, but then the promptness of the pickup, the friendly driver. the ease of booking and the quick and safe delivery from Ireland to Germany of my saxophone. I will definitely be choosing Parcel Direct in the future and would recommend them without hestiation.”

“I had to return an eBay purchase to the seller in Germany and googled courier prices from Ireland and ParcelDirect was - by far - the best value with simple to follow instructions. The shipping instructions and labelling of the package was easy and there was a pick-up point close to where I live. I was able to track the package all the way to the original seller in Germany and show proof of delivery so that I could get a refund. I would certainly use ParcelDirect again as some of the prices quoted for other couriers were outrageous and greater than the value of the goods. One more thing: the item I was returning was a relatively low-value watch but some couriers would not transport anything that was classified as 'jewellery' which seems crazy!”

“Worst courier ever!!! Sent 10 parcels up to 20 kg from Ireland to the Netherlands and all parcels arrived like dropped from a plane. The agent started throwing the parcels even from the collection moment, parcels were thrown in the van not put in the van. Cheap services! Definitely Not recommended!!!”

“Parcel Direct made the process of shipping from Ireland to the UK effortless, I was able to send 2 packages and select the cheapest and best option very quickly. This is not something I do often but decided to sell something on ebay. 1 parcel 40kg and 1 parcel 16kg. It took me literally 10 minutes and I had a collection time and tracking reference in my mails, A1 service and simple to navigate. Thank you.”

“I needed to send notarized mortgage documents across the Atlantic on a tight deadline, so I chose Parcel Direct so I could quickly see which carriers were available and what their prices were. I could easily see the most affordable and fastest option, and once I selected the carrier (TnT), the process of printing out the labels was easy and the instructions were clear. My documents were picked up the next day at my door, and I was quickly emailed tracking information. My documents were supposed to take 2-4 business days. Unfortunately, it has now been over a week and they are still not there. I can see them moving, via the tracking information, but they are very late. This jeopardized the purchase of our home, caused serious stress to us and to the sellers, caused more work for the laywer who was helping us, and caused the sellers to delay travel they had booked. We were extremely lucky the lawyer agreed to temporarily work with scanned files we sent by email. During this stressful process, each time I reached out to TnT, I received no response whatsoever. However, I also reached out to Parcel Direct several times, and they were great. They responded VERY speedily each time, and they acted swiftly to look into the delays. They managed to receive responses from the carrier when I could not. In the end, this particular delivery was not a good experience, but it was 100% because of TnT and 0% because of Parcel Direct. I would definitely use Parcel Direct again for their excellent customer service, ease of use, pickup at the door, and comparison shopping. However, I will never in a million years deal with TnT. I might have saved 30 euro but it was not worth it for the many people who were stressed by TnT's sluggish and late delivery (or, rather, non-delivery)!”
