“We have ordered an American Gum Tree from Paramount Plants. The delivery was on time without any problems. The tree was properly wrapped so we were surprised when after uncovering the 'crown' of the tree saw that the leaves aren't looking healthy. Unfortunately after 2 weeks of the planting the leaves still not looking good. We just hope that it will be better.”

“This is the second time that I have ordered plants from Paramount Plants and I must say what a pleasure it is, ordering your chosen plants or trees then they arrive only days later in perfect condition. “It's the first time we'd visited Paramount and will definitely go again! The guys were really helpful with good knowledge of plants and stock. We bought a bunch of perennials and ordered an Irish Yew for delivery, a beautiful specimen. It arrived earlier than expected (we expected 10 days and it arrived in 5) and in great condition. Communication is good too with email updates from order to delivery and also aftercare and offers.”

“Fabulous plant. Some trouble getting the shrub offered on the website but a satisfactory alternative size was found. A little more expensive but it made an immediate statement and has flowered all summer.”

“This is the 1st time I have used Paramount Plants. Whilst I was surprised/disappointed that the 1.5M high skeeters broom acer was delivered without any form of protection (hence just 3 stars) it did appear to have survived its journey unscathed, probably more by good luck than good management. The plant was not cheap and I would have expected some form of protection against all of the dangers faced during its transit would have been a fundamental requirement. Notwithstanding my concerns regarding its transport the plant appears to be healthy and generally complies with the description on the web site in terms of its form and size. I have many years experience of growing acers and only time will tell if the plant is free from any inherent problems and genuinely healthy.”

“The company seams efficiently managed. Trees arrived to schedule. The driver wasn’t particularly courteous which was made worse as he was driving their liveried lorry. The trees themselves were tall specimens and expensive for us. When unwrapped I would say that I wasn’t stunned by the quality. They looked like they had been stood rootballed for a long length of time as the hessian wrap was green with algae. The wrapping of the branches had damaged some of the stems and branches. Our hope is though that they will recover but I am not sure they will. We did soak them for the three days prior to planting as they were very dry. And leaves were falling. Only after that did I see the mention in an email about reporting any issues within three days. Overall saddened at the condition of the trees.”
