“I'm somewhat of a later comer to Panzerwrecks having accidentally stumbled across them looking for something else. Seeing the reviews and the detail of their books I was intrigued and decided to pick a book up and see what is what. Apart from the excellent packaging and quick delivery the book itself sports a 100 or so images with detailed captions about each image. The images are first rate and beautifully detailed in a surprising high resolution state considering the age. You're guaranteed to have never seen the majority of the images due to the obscure nature and sources used to find them and believe me its all the better for it. The pictures present a past rarely seen and if you spend long enough looking at the images you see fine details of people and the armour they used. Its not often I describe books as 'special' but the Panzerwrecks series of books certainly fits the bill. From the obscure to the strange, armour of all shapes and sizes finds its way into these books and each page brings a new surprise and fresh perspective on one of the darkest chapters of human history.”
