“Very pleased with the bracelet. It’s more delicate than it looks on the website. It’s for a friend’s 50th Birthday and she’s a hands on type of gal, so we needed something pretty but robust and that she could wash the pots in!”

“Unfortunately, I'm not very satisfied with the with both the delivery and the product. The delivery process was rather annoying as it took longer (a week) than planned and did not track the delivery to my door, leaving me in limbo for two days on whether the product would actually arrive, although kudos to the service department for clearing the process up immediately once I inquired.”

“I bought the Trixie Elegant Statement Earrings (Wooden) and they are gorgeous! The resin part is a lot more matte than the pictures suggest, but this is easily solved by applying varnish as suggested above. Looking forward to buying from Paguro again.”

Hi Nicola, I'm sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the earrings. In respect of the hooks, we try to use sterling silver as we find customers tend to prefer it but it is softer than stainless steel and, as you have experienced, can lose its shape. We would happy to replace the hooks for stainless steel if you would like or we could send you the hooks to replace yourself, if you would be comfortable doing so. Regarding the finish, we do polish the resin lightly but it can fade after use. You can buff it up again with a polish or even olive oil and it should be shiny. We will include that in the description going forward that might be useful for other customers. “I've bought 2 coin/card purses and 1 across-body bag from Paguro. I love the quality of the items, and having something durable and easy to clean instead of fabric that stains or leather that I'm not keen on is great. Only thing I struggle with is that they're quite expensive - however I guess it's worth it because they should last a long time.”

“It's an ingenious idea to make a handbag out of rubber. It did have a slight rubbery smell which I got used to. Only criticism is that it is a little bit small to fit all my basics in.”

“I have had Paguro jewellery in the past and love the contemporary designs and excellent handmade craftsmanship. I especially like the ethos of re-using man-made materials which would otherwise be thrown away after use and pollute the environment, to make beautiful objects. I therefore decided to give my niece gift vouchers for her 18th birthday. This was not entirely straightforward, but the problems were eventually resolved by the very helpful customer service department (thank you Yen!) I am still a big fan, though, and hope to add to my collection at next year's Womad!”
