“At first I wasn't a fan of the house coffee, but the next time I tried making the it, I just added a little more to make it stronger and then it was to my taste. Cool concept of getting coffee to your door - but a little pricey for what it is. I wont be getting it as regularly as I initially thought, but maybe as a treat once in a while.”

“Coffee is surprisingly good. Very good breakfast coffee. Not many thrills for the price. But much better than supermarket sourced coffee. Price is reasonable. But the v50 (pour over device) is definitely an awesome design and so useful. Not universal filter paper sizes though. :( Overall a good coffee contender :)”

Hi Ellie, we're thrilled to hear that you're loving the coffee and our service! Just a little a about our pricing; whilst supermarkets buy commodity coffee at varying degrees of quality for a low price, we buy speciality coffee via Direct Trade with our suppliers. We guarantee farmers at least 25% above the Fairtrade price for their coffee and last year we paid 51% more. We hope that by giving farmers a decent price for their beans, they can be paid their worth and reinvest into their farms and community. We really do see this make an impact, and so with each coffee you receive, we let you know what difference Pact has made to the people who grew the coffee. As a result of this, and us delivering fresh coffee to your door at your convenience, we appreciate it's a bit more pricey than supermarket coffee, but we hope the difference speaks for itself. “So pact coffee i have found to be an amazing company who really care about their customers and their coffee. The only problem was the taste of the first coffee that they sent me, it was one of their more expensive single lot coffees and it tasted like dishwater. I’d possibly give another coffee a go, however it better be more decent this time round.”

“My overall experience is very good. Direct trade is what got me to try our Pact when I first moved to the UK. The coffee is mostly good too; once a while I would get a bag that is slightly less than ideal but nothing that I can’t manage. Keep up the good work!!!”

“I wanted a provider of coffee other than Tesco or Waitrose (or other supermarket). PACT was reviewed positively and for the last 4 or 5 months I have been receiving a pack fortnightly. The people seem friendly enough, the system works well and the coffees are OK. I have a (nominally) two cup espresso pot which produces about 12cc coffee which I top up with 5-10 cc hot water ... the same as I would normally request at cafés. None of them replicate the taste of the better coffee shops, especially those in Europe. Maybe that's OK, as I don't intend to get obsessive about coffee. Some months you might get two deliveries of the same coffee, but I think that goes with the territory when dealing with smaller companies, its not a problem.”

“Overall I am pleased with the service and quality of the coffee beans. The delivery dates are easy to amend and the coffee generally arrives two days after the dispatch date. I do however note that sometimes we receive the same coffee too often. We like to try the different choices available, so it can be a little annoying when the same ones are sent frequently. You have a good system going and we are happy with the service. Well done and thank you.”

“I look forward to each new packet of Pact coffee and always find something I'm interested in tasting - I'm not sure I've had the same coffee twice! I've had one coffee I thought was slightly over roasted but everything else has been great.”
