“I really loved the campus and all the people there. The course I took was interesting and I had the opportunity to meet many new people. It was hard to leave and I’m glad I took this course.”

“A once in a lifetime, quintessentially English (right down to the cream tea), experience this summer at Caire College in beautiful Cambridge. The timetable was very well structured and there was always a choice of interesting activities to participate in. Genuine attention to detail and to pupils' individual needs and personalities where possible, was a huge plus. Very professional and motivated staff who have a genuine understanding and interest in teenagers. Thank you.”

“It was such a great experience to do for my summer vacation. Everyone was very nice, i made new friends, and counselors were amazing!!! I loved them!! All the courses were great, teachers’ explanations were very clear and easy to understand. Im very thankful to Costa (sorry i dont know how to spell) and all the members in ORA. I hope I can see you again in 2020 :)”

“The two weeks I spent in Balliol College doing an Oxford Royale Academy course were definitely memorable. I learnt a great deal, became friends with people from all around the world and got to discover Oxford, it was breathtaking.”

“The two weeks I spent a Jowett walk were the best two weeks of my life. New cultures, new personalities, new ideologies, all in one campus. I met people I never thought I needed in my life and learn new things about myself as well as broadened my horizons regarding subjects I had interests in. The teachers were so inviting, all the students were inquisitive which made classes more interactive and dynamic. The councillors were extremely helpful and always there for us when we needed them. Always there when we needed new ping-pong balls, when we needed someone to braid our hair, or just when we needed someone to talk to. The memories I’ve made at Jowett Walk are memories that will forever be engraved in my mind. Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience.”

“ORA has been a unique,fascinating and new experience for me and hopefully all my fellow peers as well.It was great being able to get an insight on your subject and learn new, interesting things that you do not learn in school from people who love and have a scizling passion for it!The teaching program,councelors and environment definitely exceeded my expectations;and I am very happy and greatful that I got to live/see all of it!I would undoubtedly recommend this program to everyone.”

“Amazing experience for my son. He came back delighted, with so many new friends from all over the world, missing every minute he spent at St Hugh's. This positive life experience is a lot more than I expected. I chose O.R.A. because of the excellence of the teaching, the best environment to improve English in the best way possible, learning a subject matter, Film Academy, having so much fun. And there has been more to that: good vibes, family spirit, vast horizons and perspectives. So intense, so emotional. My boy will remember Oxford and the O.R.A. forever.”

“Oxford summer school was one of the best experiences I’ve had in life, on the first day I was submissive and nervous but I got to make amazing friends which let me become more comfortable. From the counselors to the oxford environment, everything was great. would recommend to teenagers wanting to get out of their comfort zone and experience something extraordinarily!”

“Well actually I think that oxford royale academy was really nice but I always like to put some space for improvement...I believe that it would be a magical experience for the students if they had the chance to stay in “old-styled” rooms..before I entered my room I was expecting for a vintage Middle Ages styled room like those in Harry Potter’s movies...But then I saw the blue electric door and I understood straight away ...I mean it’s wasn’t bad ...but I think it would be a nice experience ...”

Hi Alexandra, We are really glad to hear that you had a good time during your time with ORA this summer. We are sad to hear that you were disappointed with the rooms, however, as much as we would love to have a more Harry Potter-esque theme to all the college facilities, these are the actual university rooms that the students of the college use while they study there during term time. It is important to retain that authenticity, as many students attending ORA are looking for the genuine university experience. It is important that they get that in all aspects, so that when they do choose to (or not to) study at the university they will have the experience all things to help them make that all-important decision. I do hope this helps you understand why we could not offer this. Kind regards Christie

“What an amazing experience.. we have made life long friends from all over the world. Definitely what you put into this course is what you get out of it. It was one of the best life time experiences possible both academically and socially. “my best summer i've ever encounter. it was more about personal growth than the academic achievement. i met amazing people from all over the world. friends that will last for a life time hopefully. couldn't hold my tears when time to say goodbye had to come. felt like part of me will stay in that place and i'm going home with magical memories. thank you for such experience. every end is a new beginning. love you all.”

“The accommodations were comfortable. St.Peters College was right next to town so there were beautiful views from the room windows. Lessons were challenging but engaging. I felt like I learned so many valuable skills that I will use later on in life. Would really recommend to someone that wants to spend their summer productively.”
