The Summer was great. I had a warm welcome By the ORA Team. Through out the stay the councelors were very nice. I have to admit, I was a little bit disapointed by the st. Edmunds college at first, because it wasn‘t what I expected. Also I have to Tell you that my first physiks teacher was awful and a waste of Time. The second physiks teacher, John, was perfect and I wish I had had him from the beginning. What I struggled with this session, was the lack of time for lunch and the workload. Also would I have wished for more physikal activity’s in the afternoon. Other the stay was pretty amazing and I really enjoyed the last week. The only problem with ORA as a summerschool, is, that it only lasts for two weeks;) thank you very much for making this possible and I hope to see you next year again. Andrea Schmid

For me, this is an wonderful oppoetunity to meet other kids around the world. One thing that impress me the most is the detailed and specific organisation and schemes that make all of us enjoy this experience. All the best and look forward to attending this summer camp again.

During the one-week Yale Summer School Global Leadership Programme, I was able to explore what strengths and weaknesses I thought I had, and modify them accordingly to where I have decided to pursue for the nearing university life and beyond that. Treating sick patients may not be centred on politics, but ethical jurisdiction and appropriate relations are critical for conducting the best doctor-patient interaction. The consideration for the students’ preference for conducting classes was really favourable for someone like me, who attended the programme to broaden my experience. The topics we discussed were relevant in the happenings of the real world, which I believe is important for us youth who will mold the future. The afterclass excursions exposed me to the ways of different backgrounds and how to interact with them for maximum efficiency. It helped me become more confident in my skills and allowed me to work on my areas for improvement. All in all, I would recommend the Yale Summer School Global Leadership Programme for everyone because the experience is definitely worth it.

Super positive environment. Many fun activities-- a visit to London, the theatre, punting, and just the right amount of free time. Wide range of courses offered, competent educators. Some living quarters better than others.

My ORAexperience was amazing. I had fun and met people from different countries. What I liked most was that I was able to get a clear idea of what I want to become in the future. The time spent there taught me what I should expect in university which I’m really happy about.

My stay at Oxford Royale Academy was an experience I will never forget. The teachers wwre very kind and open to questions. They also explained our topic in a way that no matter how good or bad your English skills were, you'd be able to understand. The councellors were also kind and caring, and listened to our problems and helped to solve them. In general, all members of staff were respectful and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. However, the food wasn't the best as sometimes it'd be too dry and sometimes it'd be too soggy. Although, it was manageable as they served more than 1 option for meals and you could choose what you want to eat. The timetable was very simple to follow and they made sure we had plenty of time to complete tasks such as homework. The homework was not hard, but challenging as it was necessary to do a lot of research in order to make sure you didn't miss any important information. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and meeting different people from different cultures. I would definitely recommend ORA to people who can afford it as it teaches you important skills such as time management and organisation. Both of which are requirements needed for a good life in adult hood.

It was a great experience to meet new friends from around the globe and learn new things. I enjoyed the classes and teachers, but I didn’t agree with the little amount of free time we were given. During the course we only had one free time during the whole session to learn, explore and venture the city, which defeated the purpose of traveling around the globe to attend the course. One other thing I didn’t think was great was the amount of homework you got over one weekend. I’m new perspectives we received two full essays and presentations over the course of one weekend, which we didn’t receive much to almost any set time to complete these assignments.

Not only were the courses of Oxford Royale very fun and educational, but so were the activities and other things you would do there. After a fun day learning, you could then spend your day with your friends doing almost anything imaginable in the city of Oxford. I was at Balliol and am usuallt very awkward, but in Oxford Royale i still managed to make tons of friends that I'll never forget, and continue our friendship. These 2 weeks were truly amazing, with my only complaint being the unstable WIFI and no fans or air conditions in the rooms.

Over the last two weeks, I pushed myself to what I thought were my limits, only to discover how far it's possible to really go. Oxford Royale taught me many things: educationally and culturally. I am grateful to have learnt things beyond the four walls of a classroom. The people I met, staff, teachers, fellow students. Everyone was wonderful. It's not everyday you have an experience like Oxford Royale.

Oxford Royale Academy provided me with the opportunity to travel to a country I'd never visited, study new subjects many of which are not offered at my school and to meet people from what seemed like every part of the world. All over ORA, provided me with a once in a lifetime experience I will never forget.

It was a very good camp the activities and food were amazing. Although the lesson content was not good enough. It could have been harder and in my case more releated to enginnering. Also our teacher was very biased and keep bullying us He was also not acknowledged enough.

My experience at ORA was (almost) perfect. The academics were great, and I learned tonnes of new things with my amazing teacher Dr. Kanyaru in the computer science course. I was opened up to a whole new aspect of programming, and was finally properly taught computer science. Up until now, I have always loved computers and technology in general, but have always found code and programming tedious and repetitive. This course helped me get past that barrier and really start to be creative with code. All in all I am very pleased with the learning and academics course. However, there were a few things about the course that should have been done differently, in my opinion. Firstly, during my time at ORA, I received a yellow card. This was a deserved punishment for the rule I broke, and I am not going to dispute that. Nevertheless, the email that was sent to parents was an issue for me. The email was sent to three parents as three students were involved, but my name was the one on all of them, so the same generic email didn't even get the slight change of correcting the name for each student. Second of all, the grading system confused me quite a bit. The commentary left by my teacher, said that I had "pursued topics BEYOND those taught in class", meaning that I had done more than expected or taught. This caused me to be confused when my grade for progress and effort was a 7/10, when I had gone beyond the contents of the course in my work. Furthermore, the comment on my report described what we had done in the course, however it described things we did not do like "banking system in Java". Finally, I felt that the admin staff had a very invasive way of keeping an eye on the students. We were told that staff were placed around the town lurking as spies in normal clothing, making sure that the students were doing as instructed and respecting the rules. While I understand the fact that there are rules that must be upheld, and that ORA is responsible for us while we are there, I feel this is a very unsettling way of doing so, it incites a sort of paranoia making one look over ones shoulder every time one leaves the campus. In addition to that, we were told that our internet history was being recorded by the college. This is extremely invasive, and I personally find it very unnerving that other people I do not know nor trust have access to my personal browsing history. I really did feel comfortable using the internet (that worked at its own will) while at the course. In conclusion, I had a great learning experience at ORA, and I received what I expected from the course. I learned a lot of things, and really gained a new found appreciation for programming and its nuances. I got a lot out of this experience and have come home with new knowledge I can apply to my own projects. This does not mean, that all was rosy and without issue. As afore mentioned, there were a few problems I encountered during my time at ORA, that I felt necessary to point out here. I hope my feedback will prove helpful for whomever it may concern.
