“Return policy makes out that it would be simple to return goods. I had ordered the wrong swing set so didn't even open the goods. Outdoor Toys offered a full refund but what they don't make clear on the website is that you have to organise the return yourself. Because the swing poles are so long and heavy courier costs for me as an individual were quoted at around £200 by 2 firms. Outdoor Toys will have a corporate deal with a courier service so it would cost them less. Service would be better if they organised the return via their own courier and charged you a fee as the cost to them would be much lower. I'd have paid Outdoor Toys a moderate courier fee for them to return as it was my error but quotes of £200 to get my £300 refund were just too much.”

“Excellent experience buying from Outdoor Toys - easy to order online & the swing was delivered on exactly the date the website suggested (despite suggesting it could take longer, it didn’t). Delivery was very smooth.”

“A number of pieces came with green mould which is only evident after opening all the packs. Would appreciate advice on how to remove this as had to assemble in time for daughter’s birthday and could not return. Assembly instructions were easy enough to follow though can’t quite understand why holes aren’t pre-drilled as would be far quicker to install and less room for error. Despite pre-drilling pilot holes, splintering often seen and my daughter got a few stuck in a her finger first usage.”

“Was a tad disappointed in the quality of the slide and mold on wood . Told it was a reaction to the treatment ! I asked a joiner who put it up and he said it was black mold due to water ingress. Apart from that the climbing frame is good as are the swings and kids love it . That’s the main thing”

“Excellent. Really easy to put together with basic DIY skills. Holes aren't pre-drilled so you will need to be handy with a drill. Very straightforward instructions. Took about 4 hours in total. I would recommend getting ground anchors to be safe. Really good quality materials as well. Really impressed”

“Delivery on time and very very easy to put together (so long as you have a power socket driver or I should imagine in would be a nightmare). It doesn’t tell you this in the instructions and using a spanner (as suggested) would take forever. That said, 5 stars awarded as it is a great bit of kit and my granddaughter loves it”

“Great purchase - very happy ^_^ setup took an hour. Instructions could be clearer -_^ delivered within a week! Amazing. I have noticed cracks in the wood but after reading other reviews am told its normal. Hoping thats the case.”
