“From initial enquiry, planning, building to aftercare the whole experience has been fantastic. Excellent value for money with the security of the aftercare and warranty. Sad that the journey is over, all staff have been amazing especially Charlene and Amy.”

“OBG have just completed our garden room project. The entire installation was completed within four weeks, from demolishing the garage, laying the groundworks to installing a beautifully designed and fitted garden room. These are not kit builds. Each room is bespoke to your requirements. All of the tradespeople were first class, friendly and fantastic to deal with. Alan and Duncan in particular, the joiners, did a fabulous job effectively building a mini house from scratch. The subcontract team of electricians and plumbers were also excellent. We couldn’t believe how quickly the project was carried out. Charlene and Amy in the office were fantastic at coordinating the project and keeping us advised of progress throughout. We can’t wait to use our new room for a teenage hang-out space. Very happy to recommend.”

“I am over the moon with the quality and speed of the build of my new garden office. And it looks fantastic. The materials used are all of the highest quality. What I love knowing too is that I don't have to treat the wood cladding, because the Adobo is pre-treated. As a company OGB is first class and I do not hesitate to recommend them. It was the boos Stuart that did my survey and made his recommendations as to what would suit me. The various build teams, from the clearance team who prepped the area and removed my ancient shed, the carpentry team, electricians, painters & plasterers, flooring fitters were all first class. This company is a well oiled machine and they are all very impressive. Even when I accidentally damaged my new heater they had someone out next day to fix it. They work hard and take pride in it. Brilliant company. I'll add photos once the decking and interior is finished.”

“Couldn't fault initial sales meeting in Sep 21, but issues ever since. Groundwork started in Dec 21, got keys in Apr 22. It took until end Jun (& many calls/emails/photos) to get some repair work done - these issues were known to OBG, as highlighted at time of final inspection. I say some, as they ran out of replacement boards (20+) to be able to complete in one visit! It's now middle of Aug 22 and no further work has been undertaken. My cynical side says that the repair work was done to prevent us cancelling the landscaping. On that note, don't ask them to lay new turf. We haven't even progressed to reporting teething issues. These buildings aren't cheap. To say I have been disappointed is an understatement. it pains me to say it, but I'm reaching the point where I feel I need to get in touch with the lawyers very soon.”

“Please be very cautious before giving this company the £2500 deposit required to proceed with works, this is the speediest thing they will make sure they do. Everything else they do from then on will be at a snail pace. This was in the case of a garden room which would be attached to our home, others may be different. The reason we went with them was because we were promised the earth and how simple and straightforward we were told it would be! I think this job was too hard for them as they needed to apply for a material variation to our planning and building warrant but instead of admitting this was beyond what they could do, they made promises about it being done within a few months etc which they did not follow through. They were clever in the respect of making these promises verbally even after me emailing my concerns they would reply by phone. It has been 10 months since I paid the £2500 and I was no nearer to having the garden room fitted which they have blamed the council for and the council have blamed them. They never return calls and when I emailed them to say I no longer had confidence in them and didn't want to proceed it took them over 2 weeks to respond. They showed no interest in trying to keep my custom nor refund any of the deposit I had paid. I think this is how they make their money to be honest and anything complicated they will put on the back burner hoping the customer will get fed up and cancel which I have had to do.”

“We had a garden room built by OBG and it is great! The problems came with the garden, we then used them for a landscaping job as we thought it would be easier for it all to be done with the same company. They laid new turf but didn’t prepare the ground properly so it was totally uneven. To their credit, they then came back and relaid it again but the exact same problem has happened. I spend a lot of money on the garden so expected that they would know how to lay turf! I have had three other landscape companies in to look at the lawn and all have said it wasn’t prepared or rolled properly and would cost hundreds of pounds (the same price as we paid for new turf) to be rectified. I sent OBG emails informing them of the quotes I’ve had from other companies but they’ve washed their hands of it and won’t fix ir offer compensation. In short, I would recommend for garden room only and find a proper landscape company for any garden work.”

“I would highly recommend OBG they are one of the best companies I have dealt with. My build was done to a high standard and completed ahead of time. All staff were professional and polite. Bob and Marcus who done my build were excellent and went above and beyond. Costumer service was excellent and Charlene kept me updated at all times. Will certainly recommend as we are delight with all the work which was done.”

“In December 2021 I made the final payment for a large Garden Room, we are now in June 2022 and despite repeated phone calls and emails, the building is yet to be finished.... Until two weeks ago, I was unable to open and close the bifold doors, they have now been reinstated but as you can see from the attached photos, the job is yet to be completed. A number of the Trades Persons were very good, however sadly, that is more than I can say for the Directors and Senior Management.”

Afternoon Folks We have spoken with this client around 5 weeks ago and requested either cctv or a before and after photo to confirm damage to the garage door. Our garage roof team have worked for us for several years they have claimed to not have gone near or touched the garage door. This job was a roof replacement which he was happy with when we spoke with him on the phone 2 weeks ago our bank told us this person had tried to claim the money back for the roof job ?? mmmm Always two sides to each story we are still waiting on any proof :(

“Fantastic service throughout. We now have a lovely big family/games/dining room and a big porch. We also had some composite decking added around the room. You wouldn’t think that adding a room Onto your house would make that big a difference but it really does. It’s like a totally different house and we absolutely love it! We now have a huge space that we can use a family, from playing games to having a disco! We are waiting for our dining pool table to arrive just to finish it off. We spend loads of time in it already. The workmen came in different teams all of whom were very polite and professional and it was actually very interesting watching the process. My 3 year old especially loved the digger! Well done to the whole team and I would highly recommend using them.”

“I engaged the OBG to build an extension to my house which consisted of a treatment room, waiting area, shower room and a garden room. I liked the fact that OBG took care of everything from plans through to completion. What we have now is a well finished addition to our house which is much admired. The rating was 4 out of 5 due to poor communication at times from the office. I was given the opportunity to highlight this in a post-job questionnaire. The tradesmen were all first class and did a great job.”

“Customer service and fault fixing needs a severe overhaul! Within weeks of instillation there was severe water ingress around the walls onto the garage floor. I contacted the company director on a number of occasions and submitted photographic evidence. It was agreed that the problem should be fixed but COVID intervened. Understandably little could be done during lockdown. Since then no call, email or contact request has been returned. I still have water ingress into a new garage and am now heading into a third winter of damp storage. I have a garage that is NOT fit for purpose.”

“The team were fantastic from Campbel initial visit to OBG in Glasgow to survey, had to wait a bit longer due to covid but when the team got started was like clockwork. The joiners, plasters and electricians were first class, and the girls called everyday to ensure we were happy. We are delighted with out office thank you would highly recommend. We did visit a popular pod company however were not very welcoming and OBG certainly exceed our expectations 👍”

“Garage roof replaced today 24/08/21 by Stuart and Kevin. Really nice guys to talk to and did a fantastic job of removing the old roof and installing the new roof. Worked diligently and left no trace of any debris whatsoever and completed the job in a single day. Very happy with our end product. Shout out also to Charlene, who kept her head while all those around her were loosing theirs.”
