“I had replaced our old timber decking with a new composite deck and wanted a glass balustrade to finish it off and give us the view we wanted. I looked at lots of options and initially went to use another company, but they never responded to my calls or email, so I dismissed them. I found Origin Architectural and after reading up on them decided to go with them. It was definitely the right choice! The service was first rate - speedy delivery, top quality materials and always on the end of the phone if needed. Ashley Tattersall was so helpful, with good advice, throughout the ordering process. Nothing was too much trouble! Even their third party glass supplier was quick, speedy delivery with a pleasant and helpful driver. We’re well pleased with the finished project.”

“I ordered a glass balustrade. Origin were recommended to me and I used the on-line system to come up with an approximate design. I talked to Nicole, who is very knowledgeable, and between us we came up with the final design. It was refreshing to call a company and have a person answer the phone! Ordering and payment was simple. Confirmation of my order arrived shortly afterwards. Nicole provided detailed guidance about delivery. The metalwork arrived on time, but the lorry bringing the glass was delayed as the lorry broke down, however, the driver kept me informed and let me know the revised delivery time for the following day. Everything ordered turned up in perfect condition and the balustrade is now installed. The customer care was excellent!”

“I have used Origin twice now over the last 4 years due to both their first class products and exemplary customer service. Both projects were medium sized builds involving lots of variable dimensions over the areas covered. Our needs were superbly met over both telephone conversations and follow up E-mail correspondence. It’s been a real advantage talking with a supplier that excels with both products and customer service. Very highly recommended to potential users. Thank you once again.”

“I am absolutely delighted with my new balustrade. Nicole did an outstanding job in specifying the which balustrade was best for us. We had a slope on our patio and she came up with a great solution with adjustable base plates which allowed us to go up the stairs. Highly recommend.”

“Really impressed with the quality of the product and service from all staff. I originally contacted Origin for a small Viola system on my balcony. Nicole explained all the guidelines and informed me this wouldn't be suitable for building regs. I decided to add a handrail and couldn't be happier. Everyone was super helpful and answered all technical questions I had.”

“Damaged goods, long processing times, manager is hard work and unable to speak to with 99% of this time he isn’t around. Wouldn’t recommend unless you have time to wait for replacement products when they arrive damaged. Staff, however are very friendly.”

“Terrible product. Complained many times about this shocking product. Customer service is non existent and not willing to try rectify. All balconies I have had off them and fitted for my customers are now rusted and in poor condition. Made my company look very bad due to the lack of care from their side. Shouldn’t be in business.”

Hi. Thank you for your review. We are unclear who you are. We sell many thousands of stainless steel posts a year. The only circumstances where the stainless steel may discolour is if they are cross contaminated with mild steel. Usually the any discolouration can be treated. We are unclear who you are. “I searched the internet for materials to build a glass balustrade and contacted many potential sellers only to find the service provided to be not what I required as a first time buyer who has no experience in the field. Then I phoned Origin Architectural and found what I wanted : a company who clearly knew about their business and could explain exactly how they could help me. Their customer service was absolutely first class and friendly. I recommend them fully to anyone who is looking to create original architectural features.”

“Outstanding service from Robyn. We ordered powder coated black posts. They arrived within a week. We then confirmed our glass sizes and the panels arrived in perfect condition a week later. The service was outstanding. It is rare to come across companies like this. Highly recommend.”

“As like others, first impressions were good I placed a ( should have been a simple ) order in March 2022 for rails and glass for a 10‘ x 10‘ decking project, BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER I gave them the sizes pictured clips and still they kept getting it wrong, most of the grass was wrong size the stickers sizes where placed on the wrong glass but instead of taking responsibility they passed the blame to the customer, even had to pay extra to get 1 piece of glass sorted and when I received my delivery the sandblasted was on the wrong size yip they wanted more money to sort this for their mistake, I phoned them up and they just gave me a load of excuses after over a year of emails, phone calls, pictures, video clips and not to mention all those wrong deliveries, “when they turned up” about may 2023 I decided to take them to court… by the end of June, the court was over and so was all the excuses from a very bad run company….I lost the court case not because the company was correct, and I was wrong…. THIS IS WHERE FUTURE CUSTOMER HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL. This company has written a contract that more or less states if they get any orders wrong. (That they clearly did on this occasion and others read the reviews) It’s the customers fault….I have now sorted my issue with the glass all I had to do was move two pieces of glass 2 centimetres easy fix but clearly not for this company. with all that said , my advice would be shop wisely, first impressions are not always the best and on this occasion what you see is not always what you’re going to get”

Hi Daniel We were really disappointed to read this review. We spent many hours helping you to specify your gate panel. We supplied the same panel on three separate occasions either at a reduced cost or at no cost to yourself. You then decided to take legal action against us. In the years that we have been trading this has only happened to us on three occasions. The judge looked at the facts and could not have been clearer that the we were entirely blameless and that you were at fault. Your legal action against us was dismissed. Our business has been built on the quality of our products and our service. We are sorry that things did not work out with you. The Origin Team.

“Quality of materials first rate. Slight problem with delivery due to third party supplier but easily resolved. Customer service really excellent. The lady 'N' actually took the trouble to see where we lived in order to advise on type of materials required. All enquires about fitting were answered promptly and professionally. I would definitely recommend this company.”

They responded immediately, helped us draw up the spec, gave great advice and a very competitive quote. After that the service was first rate - speedy delivery, top quality materials and always on the end of the phone if needed. The end result is first class. Nicole Hixon was a joy to deal with. “Ashley from start to finish was there to help and give advise. I had tried to use another company before finding Origin. But I am so glad as they failed to get in touch. So I contacted Origin and what a good company they are all the staff are so helpful. The product was excellent and everyone is talking about my balcony. Well done Ashley and Origin.”
