“We're very pleased with our Origin bifold doors, especially with the recent warm weather. We can open up our extension to the garden and make the best of the fresh air and sunshine. Our installer was fantastic and took time to show us how to open and close the doors and look after them.”

“Everything we expected and more. Hassle free from placing order to installation. Survey done on the Thursday before Easter and doors delivered and fitted the following Wednesday. Very pleased with the finished product.”

“Great product although had an absolute nightmare as they only sell through (supposedly high-end) window/door companies that fit them. The company that did ours were a bunch of cowboys (Basfords in Nottingham) - basically give you all the spin.... great quality....all about YOUR leadtime, not ours.....look after you all the way through and beyond... None of this was true and because (stupidly) we paid all the money up front they were not at all quick at resolving the (many) problems. We had the B team fitters who made an absolute mess then the better fitters although not a lot to choose between them as we still continued to have problems (and are still not resolved after 7 months since we paid). The doors had to be refitted, the wrong gaskets were fitted, then fitted shodily and had to be redone, the doors weren't screwed in at the bottom and therefore couldn't have them open, scratches, poorly cut sills, wrong sized glass, wrong colour sealant, not to mention the huge leadtimes and many times of promising to come to resolve issues then not turning up. Finally with the latest issue of the door sills moving 7 months down the line, we put a complaint into Origin to get help on ensuring that Basfords were finally fitting correctly as they are responsible for ensuring that their sole distributors are fit for purpose - we were told that one of their surveyors would come out at the same time as Basfords to check the work then a few days later they said our contract was with Basfords and they could do nothing to help us!!!!! At this point I can only conclude that Origin are as bad as Basfords and do not care about the customer service surrounding their products. So as I say, great product however what good is that if you cannot guarantee the fitting / quality / leadtime or Customer service....... Very poor indeed.”

“The product is beautiful. However I purchased this along with all new windows & French doors from HomeHub Group (also known as Trade Windows) in Bracknell, and have still to receive part of my fully paid for order from July 2014 start date. What they have fitted in places has been so sub standard it beggars belief. My FENSA certificate was issued before the work was done & they failed to comply with building regs. There was very little due care and attention to the fitting of the products, the finish, the sizes were incorrect leaving enormous gaps. I would recommend Origin but feel this company should sever all ties with HomeHub as it will reflect badly, and HomeHub are anything but professional or courteous in their treatment of customers. Trading Standards and FENSA should be made aware of their cowboy shoddy practice. Use HomeHub at your peril - go elsewhere for Origin!”

“As a customer you don't deal directly with Origin. They supply the fitting company. I would like to see a greater diversity of installer available. Ours was quite slow, very poor at communication and exceedingly tardy with snags.....but the price was right. The Origin windows and sliding doors however are fantastic!!!!!!!!!”

“The doors were fitted between our kitchen/diner and conservatory. The instant the installation was completed we noticed the marked reduction in heat loss from the kitchen/diner into the conservatory, which is going to save us a 'zillion' pounds in heating bills! Noise from rain on the conservatory roof is also practically eleminated. Probably still there but not nearly so noticeable as before. The doors are very well manufactured and look great. Next to the new kitchen we had fitted fitted the year previously, these doors are the best purchase we have made for the house since moving in 10 yers ago. Can't recommend them highly enough.”

“Out Bi-Fold doors were scheduled for fitting on Thursday the 19th of March. During the installation I noticed that the travel door was on the wrong side. After several phone calls it transpired that the company fitting the doors had made an error in their paperwork and ordered them the wrong way round. Unfortunately this meant that the complete set had to be reordered from Origin and we feared it would mean another four week delay. I'm pleased to say that the company spoke to a director at Origin who agreed to fast track the fabrication of a new set over the following weekend and they were fitted on Tuesday the 24th of March. We are very pleased with our new doors and the fact that we chose Origin following there excellent customer service.”

“My single origin door looks magnificent. Through the carefully etched glass I can see my swimming pool. Excellent customer care and was very carefully measured and fitted by Aspect Windows of Devon.”
