“We researched a lot of bi-fold doors before deciding that Origin seemed the best choice. We were uncomfortable with the recommended supplier and installer in our area so went further afield to source them. Unfortunately one of the sets of doors was badly damaged on the day of delivery and so we could only have one bi-fold installed, leaving us with a large gap that needed to be boarded up while Origin made us another one. They told us 2 weeks. It took 3 weeks and, again, when it came, was defectivie. We were offered no apology from Origin or any form of recompense for our inconvenience. In fact we had no contact from Origin at all. We are still waiting for Origin to sort out the second defect in the door.”

“We had three panels in a standard patio door opening size and they look really good. The slim sight-lines allow plenty of light in even in a quite small space. The operation of the doors is very easy. Installation went smoothly and basically we got exactly what we wanted with no damage or mess to existing floor and decoration. We have shown them to friends and they were very impressed. Thoroughly recommended from start to finish.”

“After a few weeks our leading door dropped, despite the bi-fold doors being installed in an existing building. This was frustrating and concerning as the security on our property was at risk as we could not lock the door, but our supplier came out within 48 hours to adjust the door. Apart from this the doors are great.”

“I'm very pleased with the doors but the contractor had to return to adjust them and now I have 2 large dents in my door which I'm battling to get them to replace. After spending what was a huge amount of money, I am very frustrated with the finished result. I can't get a response from the contractor who is giving me very bad customer service.”

“Our Bi folds are Wonderful and look amazing. The product is first class and so glad we went with Origin. If you want an outstanding job and great quality finish then go no where else, this company has the best product by far then anyone else and was fitted with out any problems. “Initially we were pleased with the Tri-Fold doors. They made a great improvement to our kitchen-conservatory living space. However, we have had a number of issues. Firstly the doors were delivered with the wrong size glass. The corners of the doors were very sharp and these damaged the door seals during installation. These issues were corrected after a few weeks delay. During the first weeks of use we noticed the latch tongue was catching on the frame and starting to damage the paint. Photographs of the latch mechanism were sent to the local supplier and Origin, showing a poorly fitting latch in the door. That was March 2015. An Origin fitter came to inspect the problem eventually and said the door frame gap was not big enough. For months this issue has gone on. With our supplier and Origin passing the buck. By September we had had enough. It took me less than 1 hour to make and fit a small strike plate costing less than a pound to fix the issue, something the door should have had in the first place. Overall A reasonably good product, but spoilt by lack of attention to detail and overall very poor customer support.”

“When having an extension built on our house which included two sets of bi-fold doors we made extensive inquiries into which doors would be suitable for us. We settled on Origin bi-fold doors because of the knowledge of the salesman at Admiral Homecare and the quality of the product combined with a great price. The doors were installed by their excellent team of fitters and we are extremely satisfied with the final result. The doors look fantastic and run smoothly and we could not have wished for a better product. Well done Origin and Admiral Homecare, Alconbury”

“We installed bi-fold doors for our bay out to the garden, they look absolutely stunning and feel solid; extremely happy with the product. Ours are as tall as we could make them and the room has been transformed. I give it 4 stars and not 5 because they took around 3 weeks to get back to us with a quote...”

“Extremely happy with the installation of my doors, the workmen cleaned up all mess caused by removing the original patio doors and took all the rubbish with them. The doors look amazing inside and out with no distruption to the orginal decor.”
