The BlocOut Blind I bought required screwing on the bottom, which I cannot do because the bottom is made of wood in a rental. This should be more clearly indicated, and a simpler on side plaster wall mechanism like on top would be better. There was some light leakage on corners and , but with some black tape is became good enough, not pretty though.

Great service and great looking blind didn't notice until I put it up that you can see order blinds through the material (at the bottom) when the sun shines.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a comment, we are sad to hear that you were not completely satisfied with your ordering experience. Having checked the details on our system I can see that your order was shipped within our advertised time scales, although on the last day. If an order is sent within our normal lead times we would usually not send updates until the tracking information is provided when the order ships, but I will pass this info on to the Customer Service manager for review to see if a process change may be required.

The blind arrived when promised and it was what I ordered except it was some centimeters shorter than my measurements. The installer had to install it from the top of the window recess rather than the sides which is what my measurements were for.

I ordered 2 lampshades , one of which had been damaged in transit. The courier returned it. Quality control sent it back to me. I sent photos to your Customer Service department. They were excellent and restored my faith in your company, sorting it out very efficiently. I am very pleased with the lampshades.

Recived blinds late.although they did ring to let us know they would be late. Then I had to ring them as I was concerned when they still did not turn up. Now received them but not had time to put them up yet.

The blind was lovely quality made. I ordered for my new bathroom, i ordered brackets for front face hanging, but they sent me recess brackets, they took a week to come and my bathroom fitter had to come back, so disappointed in the after-sales a bit. I would order from them again, because the blind was made very nice.

Good quality blind. Took longer to be made and dispatched than expected. Poor communication by customer services. Had to call them for information 4 times, to be told different excuses each time with regard to delay. Pleased with blind.

I bought two blinds from Order Blinds. The first went smoothly, but the second was for a window with a sloping top - it was a trapezium in shape, not a rectangle. There were several problems with that order, and we were sent the wrong length fabric strips a couple of times before I measured, calculated and said exactly what lengths I needed - then they arrived OK.

Blinds seem good quality, but two of the blinds that I ordered were covered in metal fragments, where they had been cut to size at the factory but not cleaned up afterwards. I complained and they apologised and said that they would look at quality control in future. I'd spend half an hour removing the fragments and another 30 mins writing an email and attaching photos of the contaminated blinds, they could have at least given me some compensation, or a money off voucher if I was to purchase more blinds.

The online order process was straightforward and simple. The blinds arrived in a reasonable period of time considering they were made to fit. I got a professional builder to fit the blinds for me and he didn't encounter any difficulties. However, I'm less unsatisfied with the way these blinds perform. From the word go I experienced the blind coming out of the plastic run and therefore letting in light. This happens if there is any wind coming through the window blowing on the blind. But I also find happens if the blinds goes slack when you bring them down. I've learned to live with it and if you are careful you can normally avoid this problem happening. However, it shouldn't happen at all. That's why I've given it a rating of "acceptable".

The blind slats were very good but the spacing of the slats from the track was not perfect but acceptable

I ordered an electric wooden blind but it took three attempts before I received a blind that was acceptable. The first one should never have been dispatched it was in such a mess -the motor was not fitted properly and the slats were cut badly and not painted properly so I returned it. The motor on the second one did not work and was returned. The third one was not perfect. The slats again were not cut cleanly with chipped paint but I accepted it as I was fed up. However, it does look stylish when hung and the electric motor works brilliantly. Throughout this saga Order Blinds Online were very good providing exceptionally good customer service. The problem is their suppliers in Northern Ireland who make and dispatch the blinds. They do not appear to have heard of quality control. I have bought from Order Blinds online before and the blinds were of good quality. Although I could only rate them as 'acceptable' this time, I would not hesitate in buying from them again despite this experience as they do provide good customer care and support.

Unfortunately my review is not wholly positive. We love the concept of the perfect fit blinds, and have had two installed happily for over a year. We recently bought 3 more, of which 2 were problematic. The bottom spar of both problem units was incorrectly cut, so the whole unit didn't fit. Order Blinds online quickly sent another spar for each unit: one rectified the situation and I had to cut the second down to the correct size. So, not a perfect result. But the attitude of the supplier was positive and prompt. The concept is great and works, but gave me a few days of headache.

Ordering was easy and the quality of the product is good, however the claim of being total blackout is not accurate as the side rails leave a gap between the wall and themselves which had to be filled with sealant. The cassette which contains the blind needs additional fittings along the top to hold it onto the wall above the window, otherwise it is pulled away by its own weight and light comes over the top. The overall fit was reasonable but could be tighter and more accurately cut to fit the space. With some modification and gap filling I achieved about 98% blackout. The fittings are easy but also plastic and can break if you are not careful.

The instructions that came with the blind didn’t match the blind, spent ages trying to find out how to spring load it without it constantly unwinding, very frustrating.
