Furniture arrives slightly earlier than expected, but I was informed about that. Item looks good and is what I expected.

The service from company was first class with no criticisms of any sort. The product itself however is good but not great. It arrived with a blemish in the middle of the unit which looks damage caused while in storage/transit. Its not quite big enough to send back or kick up a fuss about. The biggest disappointment was the actual build of the cabinet. No drawer runners, just boxes in holes which is quite shocking on modern oak furniture at this cost. These will need to be purchased and retrofitted. Also, the cabinet door gaps are completely uneven so a lot of adjustment is required to get them looking as they should. It’s still a stylish unit and overall we are happy but a little attention to detail would have made the difference.

My wife ordered a hifi unit in May. It arrived in September. I ordered a second unit in September. It arrived damaged. Replacement sent. I now have to wait in a third time for collection of the damaged unit. Could do better!!!

As nice as the furniture is and it should be at the price, it took 6 months to come and with very little communication regarding it. Would I order again? Nope!

Ordered a Cook King fire bowl from Only Oak Furniture. The order was quickly proceed, and delivered before the originally specified date. I am very happy with the service provided and will be recommending Only Oak Furniture to my friend.

I was impressed with the bedside tables and changed the door knobs to the wooden ones which I preferred. The only difficulty I had was that apparently the carrier staff were not allowed to take the items upstairs and I had to seek help to move them

After waiting months waiting for a chair and paying for it to be taken into my home I phoned only oak furniture to get it returned because it wasn’t suitable, I was told buy customer service it could only be done if it in the box it came in which I explained was disposed of by their delivery men before coming into my house, they would only take it back if paid over £100 don’t buy from this company

Hi Gina, Sorry about the delay. However covid has increased the delivery times of some items beyond our 10-25 day target. We are working with our suppliers to reduce these delays but the majority are simply caused by shipping delays around the world and is completely out of our control. With regards to the disposal of you box. Only Oak Furniture do not offer this service, nor do any of our contracted delivery teams, if a delivery team has removed the packaging they would only do so with your permission. We have to insist that items are returned in their original packaging to prevent damages when items are returned. It is most important that anyone receiving goods remove them carefully from thee packaging and inspect them. Should you wish to return an item then you must replace the item back in to the undamaged packaging for their safe return. We have this clearly stated in our terms and conditions which you accept at the time of purchase. Regards, Steve Wardle MD

I'm so glad I used Only Oak furniture. After a very bad experience with another supplier who failed to deliver the Z Oak Large desk after 6 months, and who could not give me any indication of delivery, I turned to Only Oak. They provided me with a date for the next shipment and an estimate of when the item would be delivered. I was kept up to date with progress and informed when the item had arrived in the UK. Deliver soon followed. The desk itself is absolutely fabulous and worth the wait.

Hi David, So pleased you had good customer service and that you are delighted with product. This is what we build our brand on! Sorry about the wait though, its been a challenge to get furniture made and shipped to the UK this last 18 months and although we are achieving about an 83% success rate of delivery within 10-25 working days, some items are taking a considerable amount of time beyond this to arrive. Delighted with the quality and service of Only Oak Furniture Nunwich Tall Chest.Ordered delivered,well packaged,and in situ with no trouble. Wish all companies were as good. Very pleased.I recommend them,and will use again.

Good quality nest of tables. Got it at a good price too. Delivery was a bit delayed because of hgv driver scarcity. Otherwise, I am happy and will like to purchase other items with them in the future

Good website but they are suffering from supply problems on some items (like the rest of the world). Ordered and paid for a patio dining set in January for an estimated delivery in May and it arrived in October. Not a problem for us but better communication over the delays and revised/missed delivery dates would have helped to make the wait easier. We have ordered previously from Only Oak and we will more than likely do so again.

Hi David, Garden Furniture has been a big challenge for us this year we wont hide from that fact! Information from suppliers has been at best sketchy, sometimes we even did not believe the information that was coming through. How do I pass information to customers I don't even accept? My resort was to remove the suppliers from the site. However, on the plus side we are delivering an average 83% of our orders on time. Unlike many other companies we have also left the reviews on for you to leave your feedback, I wont lie its hard to see where we are failing is normally out of our hands. As long as our customer service remains then I am happy. And for as long as I can as MD I will answer all reviews myself. I hope this is enough t convince you and others to order via our family firm again! Enjoy your garden furniture and thanks for staying with us through the journey!

They were extremely helpful when I contacted them to ask about a particular dining table. I was not ready to take delivery on the date provided and a delay to a later date was no problem. The only comment I would make is that I received an E Mail advising I would get a text message when the delivery driver was 30mins / 1 hr away, this did not happen, but thankfully I was in when he arrived. I think this is down to the delivery company rather than Only Oak Furniture.

We ordered 2 bedside tables and a dressing table in August. It is now October and we still don't have any furniture, despite all being "in stock" on their website. The dressing table they did try and deliver but it was damaged, and despite us chasing for updates we still have no idea when they will try and deliver the bedside tables. If you don't have stock ready to deliver, don't let me buy from you. I wish we hadn't and gone to a company who actually respect their customers.

Hi Allan, I am sad to read this review. I can only apologise for the delivery company who damaged your first dressing table. We will have the new one out to you either late this week or early next. As for the bedside tables given the current issues around shipping we try and keep customers updated as best as possible when suppliers inform us of delays. At the time of your order you were informed that we did not have stock, nor a shipping date. You were happy to proceed at the time. Since then we have informed you as much as possible with regards to your order. While I accept that we should have on the web site in and out of stock items clearly marked, this particular supplier does not have the facility to do this with our site. We are and have made significant progress on showing in and out of stock items on the site since your order with other suppliers and will I am sure, have the same facility with this supplier soon. As you may understand this takes significant resource and willingness from the supplier to complete this task. I have tried to contact you personally to discuss this review and how you would like us best to proceed with the order. Please feel free to contact us direct to discuss the remainder of the order.
