“Beautiful furniture but there was a chip at the of the glass top for the table and a couple of the rattan weave broken in the centre for the parasol.”

“I do not feel it was made clear as to how difficult it was to erect the shed and the tools one needed. I had to employ a joiner to assist me. Also I feel the shed should be supplied with a shelf and lock.”

“Sadly we have had a very poor experience with this company. Long wait times (not flagged until after payment), very poor quality furniture (and unusable) when the first 2/5 pieces arrived and a very protracted and inconvenient process to organise the returns. Business model means that OOF do not see the quality of the goods they are selling, nor do they have any control over the incompetant suppliers/delivery company. That said, staff in the office at OOF were excellent, very helpful and dealt with our complaints speedily and to the best of their ability within the confines of what they could control.”

Hi Janet, I am sorry the product did not match your expectations, we do sell a lot of the range without complaint. I do say that from time to time there can be the odd item that gets through quality control with a defect and I apologise for this. Normally we would replace faulty items free of charge for you should you allow us to. Our returns process is identical to that of our delivery once we have established there is a fault with an item, asking for photos of a damaged item is only fair to ask when we are going to collect a product for an established a fault. However, I have totally disagree with the comments about our business model. We do see the goods we sell. We are fully aware of the goods we sell and the quality of the goods too. We do not see the goods we send out, because the are packaged well to protect them during transit, I am sure you would agree this is important to protect the furniture. Our control over suppliers and delivery companies is under constant review and we work with all our suppliers to improve product and service. Where we can not achieve a suitable service with a supplier or delivery company, we will remove and have removed them form our site without hesitation. Finally I am pleased our staff did everything they could to help you with you order, I am just sorry for them you fell a 1 Star review justifies their work on you behalf, after all its not just the product the review is about. “Delivery delayed but was kept informed of due date on a regular basis. Well worth the wait, its a beautiful piece of furniture much admired by all.The furniture was so well wrapped for delivery it could not have possibly sustained any damage in transit. 100% pleased.”

“I recently ordered a CD/DVD cabinet from Only Oak, and am delighted with the excellent quality of the item - well built and well finished. There was a minor glitch over the delivery, and what raised Only Oak's performance from "excellent" to "outstanding" was the very efficient and friendly way in which the problem was handled. Once I had explained what had happened, there was no delay in putting everything right, and the entire transaction was back on track by the following afternoon. I am more than pleased with Only Oak, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone contemplating buying top quality oak furniture.”

“The bed squeaks and Only Oak say it’s to do with assembly. I have assembled 3 of these EXACT SAME BEDS in the past w2 months for my new home with no problems. There is also a slat missing from the bed but they haven’t addressed that complaint. Very poor customer service.”
