“One star for style. Otherwise rather poor design and construction. Heavy construction in steel and required an additional special mounting bracket to be made to support the weight from ceiling plaster board to spread load. The plastic cord reel was no up to free 'rise and fall' operation. Cord came off plastic winding mechanism and had to be rebuilt to restore height adjustment. Now adjusted to a fixed position to save future damage if 'rise and fall' Lower Stainless steel mounting disc not concentric ring but 'D' shaped. Poor quality control in manufacturing. Now up and working in a limited mode after re-engineering. Overall a rather poor product. Price was about £100 sterling. I declined to return so next comment not tested.”

Previous purchasers of this product have not reported having to make any modifications. “Lovely lights. However trying to unravel them was quite hard and took about 20-30 minutes to unravel before I could place them.”

“This is not a £60 light, build is cheap, adjustment is course. Don’t know how long it will last, I would estimate two winters?”

“Very fast delivery. The fitting (Lucide Judi) was easy to fit and looks good. The only (very minor) comment, is that the black circular metal fitting does not precisely fit against the ceiling. The installation process is to fit a bracket to the ceiling, connect the electrics, then (like a bayonet light bulb) push on the main part of the light fitting. This leaves a slight (doubt if it's even a mm) which means that the whole fitting isn't quite square with the ceiling. Minor, really.”

Thank you for getting in touch. The tension needs to be adjusted on these lights to allow them to operate as intended. This easily done via the mechanism within the ceiling rose cup. The Customer Care Team

“Very impressed with speed of delivery. Although quoted as 3 -5 days I received lighting the next day. I made an error in the colour I requested but followwed up with an email to Customer Services to see if I could return one item and replace with another. I had a response from them the following day. Again impressive. I will use this Company again.”

“I ordered 2 outdoor lamps and the bulbs. There was a long delay with delivery as the bulbs were not in stock and there was no communication other than my emails chasing the order. When the product finally arrived I was pleased with the quality it was just the lack of customer care.”
