“Expected the product I bought to be more eco friendly than it actually is. Was advertised as recycled plastic, but was actually only 50% recycled plastic. The rest I assume is virgin plastic. Wouldn't have bought if I'd realised. My fault for assuming that this website would be more ethical than others.”

Hi there, thanks for your review. Sorry to hear you are not happy with your purchase. I noticed you purchased a lunch bag. We buy these in from another brand/manufacturer. Therefore are not "Botl" or "one green bottle" manufactured. They state recycled but do not state the percent of what is recycled. We advertise them as the company requires them to be advertised. Apologies again for any confusion caused. Thanks

“I've had a small 300ml bottle for years and it is really good as I can just carry it in my pocket, it's been holding up well so far, after about 5 years of use. I've only ever used water in it, and it has been fine, I occasionally clean it out with washing up liquid and I had a silicone brush from Lakeland to clean it but that got thrown away, so I'm glad you can get a brush now from One Green Bottle to clean it. I recently bought a 2l canteen for my girlfriend but we haven't started using it yet. I think it seems like a great product but it would be difficult to clean so I am waiting for the dishwasher to be installed before starting using it as she prefers flavoured water and sparkling soft drinks. It would be difficult to hold the 2l canteen in one hand so a carry case that would make it possible would be a useful purchase for me.”

We recommend handwashing our bottles as washing bottles in the dishwasher could cause the powder coating to degrade. However, we sell scrubbers which would make cleaning our big boy 2-liter epic collection easier 😊

“Great bottle nice wide spout to refil, great suction on the straw. I'm impressed! My children can drink from it with ease too. I love the colour l, very stylish. It's hard to find a decent water bottle but this one has hit the mark.”

“Love the colour and a perfect size for my daughter to take to school. This is the second time we’ve purchased a bottle. The first one was purchased 3 years ago and is still going strong, only reason for a new purchase was to get a larger one.”

“The leaflet inside the parcel claims 25 bottles are restored from the ocean for the sale of each bottle, but the packaging says 50 bottles are claimed from the ocean?”

“I used the chat bot to ask a question and I didn't receive a response, even after waiting week I like the products, I have bought before and I will again. The best thing is being able to replace lids without having to buy a whole new bottle.”

“I was very surprised that there is no cover for the drinking spout ! As it is quite obviously really poor hygiene to put an uncovered spout (that a toddler will drink from) into a bag ! Not really fit for purpose without a cover I’m afraid !”

“Really pleased with the bottle so far, love the colour, the straw, the handle, keeps things cold for a long time. Can't complain so far! Looked into the sustainability credentials for a while before picking one green bottle, as it's too easy for companies to greenwash these days, but one green bottle sounds legitimate and are working to improve 👍”
