“The replacement lid I purchased was overpriced, easily damaged and the packaging excessive for a company with green aspirations – or is it mostly marketing?”

Thanks for your review, and I'm sorry to hear you feel this way. As a B Corp eco-conscious company, we wouldn’t use packaging that cannot be recycled. Therefore, we hope that our card packaging protects products and does go into recycling. We are pleased we can provide spare caps, so people do not have to buy a whole new bottle. The cost associated with products is not only the design, production, and packaging but shipping cost too. The caps are bulky and the cost for us to ship them is nearly half of the cost of what you see as the product's cost. We try our best to not pass on all the cost of postage to our customers and try to stay competitively priced. If there is an issue with the item after purchase, we have a 12-month warranty. “The only bottles I will buy! They with stand hard wear from my children who I have caught playing football with their bottle. The only reason I have had to buy another one is that we lost one (child left it on a bus).”

“One of the best reusable water bottle brands out there. I chose One Green Bottle because of the straw lids and also they are based locally to me so I wanted to support a local business. Also half the price of other reusable bottle brands and the same (if not better) quality! Do yourself a favour and get a bottle from them.”

“I ordered a lid from One Green Bottle's range, It arrived on time, with no need to exchange. Prompt dispatch was key, and I’m happy to say, The fit was just right for my bottle each day. For over a year, my bottle’s been true, But the old lid was worn and needed renew. This new lid fits snug, as if made just for me, A perfect replacement, as happy as can be.
