“A few issues with this hotel room not worth the money I paid. The room and toilet very small. Plus got charged £70 for a bottle of Lanson champagne where you can buy in supermarket for £30. The food deal is an absolute con pay £70 up front if you don’t spend all the £70 it’s tough that’s the deal. Plus the two rooms next to us were still banging doors, shouting to each other over the balcony’s till 3.20am not much sleep.”

Dear Mr Short Firstly, I am sorry that you thought the hotel room was not worth the money you paid, but I do think it's unfair to label the deal a 'con' . Hotel prices for alcohol are of course very different from supermarket prices, and the per-room dining allowance of £70 is generally covered by a two or three course meal in the restaurant. Again, we apologise that you had a disturbed night's sleep. If you had brought your complaints to our attention earlier, we would have taken your issues up with the hotel. Kind Regards Offpeakluxury

“This was the third time we have used Offpeak. Confirmation came through stating dinner at 7.45pm when I had requested 7.00pm. I rang twice and spoke to two different members of staff, requesting they try to change 7.45 to an earlier time. The second person with whom I spoke said she would ring the hotel. I heard nothing more and have no idea if anyone rang the hotel. The following day I rang Billesley Manor Hotel, I changed our dinner bookings to 6.15 and 6.30pm!! I duly received confirmation from OPL to say that the hotel had changed the times for dinner. A little disappointing from our perspective!!”

“I telephoned the Offpeakluxury number and immediately spoke to Paula who was extremely helpful and booked my chosen hotel. The package was cheaper than the hotel stated price and included several extras. Very happy.”

“Very unsatisfactory were overcharged for a room that was a very small room with an even smaller bathroom only room for one person, when we had booked and been charged for a deluxe double room at the Devonshire Arms Hotel also very high service charge and when we complained to Offpeak Luxury no satisfactory response”

Dear Customer We understand that the day before you were due to arrive at the hotel, you called to advise that you required a twin room, as you had booked. We listened to your call from your original booking in 2023, in which no mention was made of a requirement for a twin. You had called the hotel prior to calling us, asking for a twin, but were advised by the hotel that this was a downgraded room, which nevertheless you were happy to accept. I am sorry that you considered our response unsatisfactory, but in the circumstances we were unable to offer a refund. Kind Regards Offpeakluxury

“Excellant, clear website with detailed information on the facilities of each individual hotel. The availability calender of hotels/ rooms & description of various offers is straightforward to read. When speaking to an agent directly, they are very knowledgable & helpful. I have used OPL before.”
