“I was expecting something special from Oberwerth based on their reputation and the premium price. Generally the bag is very nice but the zips! The zips barely move without snagging and feel gritty; I expect they will improve but they sound like Velcro”

Thank you very much for your honest feedback! Regarding the zippers of the sling bag, we’d like to point out that this can occur especially when the bag is empty or only lightly filled. In that state, the wide and high-quality metal zipper follows a sharp angle due to the shape of the lid, which can make it a bit more difficult to operate. With regular use and a normally packed bag, the zipper should glide much more smoothly.
If you'd prefer to exchange the bag for another model, we’d be happy to assist you with that as well. Just let us know what works best for you! And if you have any further questions, we’re of course always here to help.
