“I have purchased several bags from Oberwerth. What started as a promise of a one time purchase since Oberwerth bags aren't necessarily inexpensive, has become an addiction. The quality and beauty of their products keeps me coming back for more. The M bag in the Hydro line is extremely fucntional when I want to carry around a couple of different mirrorless bodies with lenses attached. It is also very smart looking and comfortable to carry around.
More recently I purchased the Q backpack. It's exquisitely made with soft, supple leather and has become my go to bag for work. I travel a lot for work and this bag is perfect to carry my laptop with a tech pouch and a work notebook, with a mirrorless and a lens. The only drawback for me with this backpack is that with my Macbook Pro 14 in a laptop sleeve does not quite fit in the laptop compartment. The laptop itself without a sleeve fits just fine as does any 13" laptop. Just with the MBP Pro 14 with a sleeve is a challenge.
I also own the Wetzlar and the George. Both of those have their own purposes and uses. The George is perfect for the Rolleiflex and a small book when I want to go into the city, walk around and sit at a coffee shop and read in the weekends. Speaking of weekends, I have been lusting after one of the weekender Nelson bags and hope to someday afford one of those.
I have accumulated a closetfull of camera bags from several well known manufacturers over the years, but they don't see the light of the day anymore. They all served their purpose in their time.
Oberwerth bags are just a joy and pleasure to use. I have a few of their other smaller leather pieces as well. You have to appreciate the quality and workmanship.”

“Very satisfy with my purchase. This is my first purchase, the shipping is fast and the bag is very high quality. I like the opening buckles so much, so tactile and the click sound is crisp when closing the buckle. I just wanna suggest Oberwerth in designing the flap like Billingham bag, where there's no need for additional side flaps to prevent dust getting it. The 2 little side flaps is a bit in the way and I would like to see a top handle in the future so the bag can be carried in different ways. Thank you.”
