“KEEP WELL AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES!!! Ordered a set of plates everything was confirmed by Beth, who on the day of receiving my plates was sent an email saying”no we can’t send the out and would not refund me my payment” I replied to the email saying this wasn’t fair and I’m contacting PayPal, to which the reply I got from Beth was “COOL”. Disgusting behaviour stay well away. Don’t be fooled by this company. I’ve also contacted trading standards. These scammers are clearly buying FAKE reviews. Enjoy my money you crooks!”

“Fantastic company. Placed my order, was asked to provide proof of ownership for the vehicle.. was unsure why at first but when I contacted them they explained the legal requirements, totally understandable to verify ownership considering vehicle crime is so bad at the moment! Will be using again that’s for sure”

“As with everyone else they took my payment then hit me with a request for a lot of personal information. Had the need for that been clear up front I wouldn’t have ordered. Immediately cancelled and now in the fight to get a proper refund rather than pay them for their underhand approach to service provision.”

“Same as everyone else here. They keep the amount under the legal figure. The standard reply from them. They must work on making the refund amount from lots of people. Paypal should refund me the full amount and I will keep leaving them terrible reviews. We have sent email after email in regards to what is required during the course of the day. This information is also available on the website before you order. Please take note of this piece of legislation in regards to your refund - Transactions under £42 are exempt from The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and therefore for transactions under this value, you do not have the right to cancel. However, we do offer the option to cancel, subject to our Cancellation Fee. Should you wish to cancel an order below the value of £42, you agree to pay the Cancellation Fee of £3.99 per plate.”

“Feel Cheated and Robbed !!! What an absolute scam Beware of the small print... I ordered front and rear plates for my car and their site assures you receipt within 24 hours, 48 hours passed still no sign of plates, I emailed to ask where they were and what you find out after paying for them is that you have to provide certain proofs of confirmation, I'm due to fly abroad later today so this wasn't an option for me so asked for a refund, after all they hadn't been printed yet, this is when they hit you with cancellation fees of £3.99 per plate??? Feel absolutely cheated, robbed and mislead 🤯😳”

“wankers.... placed my order to then be told i have to provide sensitive information before they can proceed with my order.! It did not mention this before it took my money!!!!!! “Absolutely discussing company let me order and pay for two plates after doing so l received a email requesting all sorts of paperwork l didn't have because l had a company registered the number so l couldn't proceed at that moment and asked for a refund because l ordered else where with no problems l was told that they are deducting 3.99 a plate nearly eight pounds this was all within 10 minutes l will be speaking to the card company this morning don't order or pay these low life's a penny not even aloud to give them one star they don't deserve one anyway”

“Ordered plates on 24h delivery A few days later still not arrived Couldn’t make contact via phone so emailed Responded a few days later informing me they needed additional information to process the order Why wasn’t this flagged and they contacted me? Why wasn’t this requested during the order process? As nearly two weeks had passed I’d since ordered plates from elsewhere so looked to cancel they then had the audacity to attempt to charge me £3.99. Seems like a scam to me”

“Awful company to deal with. Needed spare rear plates for a new car and trailer. Only mention of required docs was on a confirmation email, but so far down I didn't see it. After waiting for the plates I ended up getting them done at Halfords due to time pressures. This is when you find out that buried in their T&Cs is a nearly 50% cancellation fee per plate. £3.99 per plate, 4 plates, £16 on a £34 order for doing nothing. It's a business model setup to catch you out (no mention of any documentation before ordering) and then hammer you for cancellation fees.”

“Mistakenly believe their cowboy practice is protected under the consumer act as a “bespoke item” and that they can legally trap you into paying them £8 no matter what. THEY ARE WRONG. You can either report them to PayPal and get a refund or if you pay via any other method you can complain under the consumer rights act 2008 as their method of telling you what you are “legally” required to do only after they have your money is effectively misleading you into entering into a contract: don’t fall for it. They are correct that the documentation from the DVLA they require is necessary for legal uk plates; however, they are not legally required to; 1) hide this information until after they have your money 2) start printing the plate before you send them the “legally required” documents 3) charge you £8 to cancel. Plenty of decent companies out there, so avoid this one.”

“My son ordered a new plate for his bike on the 30th of March paid 38 pounds for next day delivery through pay pall. Was asked to show proof of log book and his driving licence which he did and received email back saying all received . Message to say dispatched on the 31 st of March. So he though all sorted for when he can ride it on his birthday on the 10th of April. Only the reg never came . 8th of April sent Email to So called number 1 plates to ask when his plate had not arrived , to be told it’s never been sent as my son never sent documents, even though he did and has the email from the company to prove he did . So birthday ruined great for a 17 year old as no plate and down almost 39 quid too . Shocked is all I can say as his mum”

“I ordered number plates from this company and it wasn't till I made payment they then asked for lots of private information I didn't wish to supply. I asked for a refund and they charge you £3.99 per number plate when they refund you. They had never made the number plates and stated no where about this private information before i payed. There customer service team were extremely rude about it and I definitely wouldn't waste your time with this company.”
