“Diabolical service. Training was booked and paid for in December 2015. First two courses cancelled by PSS two days before course due to commence, as they had not confirmed the course with the trainers. Second time around, one course went as planned, the second course again received a phone call two days before to advise the course had not been confirmed with the trainers, even though we had received confirmation joining instructions. Rebooked again, for a final time, and the day before the course is due to commence the training company rang to cancel the course. Absolutely diabolical service, would NOT recommend.”

Hi Nina, I cannot apologise enough for the service you have received. We try our best to avoid cancelling courses and very rarely have to, unfortunately the few occasions we have had to cancel have happened to your booking. This is unacceptable, and at the very least you should have been given more notice. We take our service seriously and we are reviewing the mistakes that lead to this failure to ensure it doesn't happen again. I understand this doesn't make a difference to your order so my colleague will be contacting you directly to find a way to start making amends for the service you have received. Sam

“found them extremely helpful with all of the information received plus all of the other course they had available, which some of these will be used in the future, the people who attended were very happy with the facilities offered.”

“I recently had 6/7 employees on a course with PSS. The feedback from my colleagues on the course was all positive. After having troubles with delegates dropping out of the course and switching names, this was not a problem at all for PSS. There was no problem with any name changes, this was dealt with very quick and easy. I would recommend using this company for their training and will certainly be booking more of my colleagues on courses here. Thank you to Jamie C for booking courses for us and dealing with any issues we had in a timely manor.”

“Very poor directions, entrance was actually on a different road, this made me late and I even thought I had been scammed. However the guy running the course was very good. Still waiting for my certificate!”

Hi Andrew, Thank you for your feedback the map we provide is taken from Google maps and unfortunately may have some errors. We do include a phone number on joining instructions, we are always happy to guide delegates in over the phone as we understand delegates are often in an area they are unfamiliar with. As this is an accredited course we have to wait for streetworks to issue certificates this takes 6-8 weeks if they take longer than 8 weeks we will chase them up and provide an update to you ASAP. In the mean time we can provide a covering letter to prove that you have attended the course. I am sorry for the inconvenience and will be sure to check over our joining instructions to ensure this doesn't happen in future and thank you for bringing it to our attention. Kind regards, Sam

“This was a well constructed and well delivered course, the level of information was of an excellent standard and backed up with examples from the work place. The instructor was engaging and had an outstanding level of knowledge I would recommend PSS without reservation.”

“The course, I feel because of the hours it took, should have been over 7 days instead of 5. When I did my initial course in 1999 only 1.5 days were spent on the locator and signing lighting & guarding. On that course we also covered units 15 & 16. I feel that if it is now considered necessary to spend 2.5 days on locator & slg training, I would suggest that it is either carried out as a separate course or as I said made into a 7 day course.”

“The tutor Ray Sylge worked very hard to deliver the course to all the class. I think it made his task harder by having a mixture of operatives and supervisors together. He was very helpful to all the group. I would make one observation that had the duration spent on unit 1 been less then unit 16 could be incorporated in the five days.”

Hi David, Thank you for leaving feedback for Project Skills Solutions, I'm afraid streetworks requires us to put both Operatives and Supervisors on the same course and we have to run the courses to their guidelines. This is so the supervisors have Operatives to monitor during the course, otherwise they can't pass. The time spent on Unit 1 is standard across all venues, again in accordance with streetworks guidelines so can't be changed If there is ever anything else we can help you with please do not hesitate to contact us.
