“I would like 40 mm shield Key alike padlocks always to be in stock. When i last tried to order was told they would be months before they had stock.”

“90 locks purchased with two master keys. Initially disappointed that the master keys did not work and that of subsequent replacement keys received, only one worked. However they worked hard to correct this and did not walk away.”

“Seems to be a good lock. Used twice a day on tack room. A little fiddly, but just needs getting used to. Daughter has removed the rubber protector and finds it much easier to use. Model....70 mm combination padlock. Very pleased with the next day posting.”

“A good quality, weatherproof combination padlock (CP50). However, given that combination locks are often used in areas with multiple users, the fact that you need to press the button on the base of the lock in order to open it is not ideal. The use of the button is not intuitive & a "press to open" notification on the lock would be helpful. When setting a new combination, the numbers have to be exactly in line. It sounds obvious enough, but I found it easy to have a number just very slightly out of alignment when setting it, so that when I set the same number to open the lock, it failed to open. This mystified me, until I inadvertantly move the offending digit a fraction to one side & the lock opened.”

“What a great service with quality products at a sensible price - rare indeed! Before discovering NothinButPadlocks getting all the keys and padlocks for the Scout HQ was a very laborious task. Now its just a case of a few minutes at the keyboard and I can reorder new keys for existing padlocks and new padlocks for existing keys - easy! p.s I think you could do well out of the Scouts in general if the website had a better way of storing and retrieving info about the locks and keys we have ordered in the past. Currently it is a leap of faith that at some point during the new key ordering process you will ask for the key number! Even then, one has to know that one writes the key number in the notes section. Responsibility for providing keys changes as leaders come and go but if you provided the one stop solution then one could just hand over the password and hey presto, problem solved! “I bought two marine combination padlocks. One failed after a few weeks but N.B.P asked me to return the faulty unit ( I had to saw it off) and they would replace it and return my postage. It was replaced but I'm still waiting for the postage! The replacement failed after about a month, but I tried different variants of the set code. I put each number, one at a time, one number higher, and then one number lower. My set code was 2658. By putting in 2758 the lock opened, so I simply reset the code back to 2658 and it is working OK several weeks later.”

Michael, this should have been done if there was record of the postage cost. Can you remember what it was and we'll refund it asap.
