“We are very pleased indeed with the Abus padlock bought for our garden gate - it came quickly, was easy to set up and works perfectly. We had previously had two Squires padlocks, purchased locally; one only lasted 3-4 months.) However, being totally impractical, I’d wanted to speak to an advisor over the phone before making the purchase. This was impossible though I understand the Covid difficulties. I tried to call quite a number of times. I finally spoke to a builder who was able to help who was able to answer my questions.”

We are always happy to speak with customers if they need some advice before purchasing and I can see you had difficulty getting through to us. I can assure you we have been working throughout recent events trying to make sure our customers get the help they need. Our telephone lines were very busy so I am sorry you could not get through straight away. Although we do not have builders in our company I am glad you seem to have got through to yours along with sorting your padlock with us.
