Thank you. These laminated padlocks undergo the Abus weatherproof treatment giving them the durability needed for use outside, especially on the coast. As with anything mechanical, we would always recommend some TLC to keep them in tiptop condition. The use of lubricant specifically for padlocks is ideal rather than WD40 which is not really suitable for this purpose.
