“We have a property in Spain and a couple of years ago we were burgled when we were here in the UK. I found 'Nothing But Padlocks' whilst searching for Abus locks. I ended up buying several padlocks, chains and the wonderful 'Gatesec'. They are pricey but worth every penny for the piece of mind. The customer service is excellent, my queries were answered the same day and delivery was next day, what more could you want?”

The various sizes of padlocks are displayed giving the image of the three padlocks, when selecting the size the other two are then greyed out. I am sorry this may not have been clear enough for you to make the necessary purchase. If this Abus laminated padlock is not what you required then please send it back to us and we will happily refund your order.

“Shield marine grade padlock is very good, thumb wheels turn cleanly and the stainless steel finish is bullet proof. The only problem, which affects all locks is it iced up this morning what with the -1 temp. My son used a cup of warm water to defrost it so the combination wheels would turn and allow him to get his bike out the shed and off to school. But in 2 words I’d say buy it.”

Thank you for your lovely feedback. We really appreciate your analysis of the marine combination padlock. They do operate well with nice free-moving dials. As you say mechanical items tend not to love the icy weather but your son found that some warm water helped his access. Ideal to make sure the padlock stays as dry as possible to help prevent water from icing up in the mechanisms. Maybe the use of an old sock or glasses pouch could help in the future?
