“Tight on top still not sure about size as had 4e width as i have to wear ankle brace and custom orthotics .is this normal for hoka bondi 8 as my first pair of hokas”

“Delivery was fine. Unfortunately what should have been lovely wide style was still way too tight for me. I would have liked to try a larger size but having to pay for the return postage potentially twice, put me off. My brother has a pair of these shoes and they do look as if they should be very comfortable.”

“Had no interaction with the physical shop or staff, and was directed to their website by the website of the manufacturer of the shoes I bought (Altra), so all I can really say is the price was good and the delivery was quick, plus the returns policy (which I didn't need) is clear and reasonable.”

Hello, We did not receive any contact from you regarding this issue and when queried the shop staff confirmed the shoes we received back to us were indeed 4E width (extra wide), so in this instance we are confused to have received your negative review. All returns are checked and the staff would have discovered the wrong shoe for the order and raised it. “I ordered 3 sizes for my dad as he has flat feet and I was unsure what would fit him. Tgey arrived in a few days. Actually none did fit him, but it wasn't until I raised the returns paperwork I realised it was my responsibility to pay return shipment fees. Of course I should have read the complete T&Cs but just a warning NO FREE RETURNS. Money returned very quickly.”

“Quick delivery, easy service and the package arrived safely. However, I am very disappointed by the product. The Hoka Gaviota 4's are too narrow! (Though this is not Northern Runner's fault) But due to Northern Runner not offering free returns I have to give only 3 stars. It would have been more if they did offer free returns.”

“I only bought a gift voucher. It wasn’t as straightforward as the purchase of such from other companies. It would be much better to have an e-card that was sent directly to the recipient with a celebratory message. Instead of sending an e-mail to the purchaser to forward. Take a look at the the way TKMaxx do it. Perfect in my opinion.”

“The service promised to be good, but this has not so far been followed through. I bought some great running shoes but the laces arrived damaged. Rather than send them back and forth I arranged with Northern Runner for them to send me a replacement pair of laces. A week on and the laces have not arrived and the trainers are still in the box. A big pity.”

“I was not impressed with prices quoted on the website not being inclusive of VAT which I am sure the majority of customers will have to pay. It seems like a disingenuous sales gimmick to me as most people will see the advertised price as being the total amount payable. I don't think that customers should have to scour the small print to find out that VAT is still to be added.”

“A tad slow to ship the order, and the packaging could have been a bit more secure and protected for the hats which were a bit bashed up (was just basic thin package wrapping). Otherwise all good.”

“One order with 4 items. First part delivery arrived ok but slightly later than expected . Second part of the order has been despatched (a day after first) but has not arrived yet and no details or follow up have been received. So mixed experience. 2nd order just placed so I will see if this one can improve.”
