“Bought a pair of Topo trail shoes, which developed holes after 250 miles. They dealt very well with my complaint (the decision to accept the return was Topo's, not theirs). I wanted a different brand as a replacement, which was no problem. They refunded the difference in price. Later on I wanted another pair in a size I couldn't find anywhere online. I emailed them and they ordered me a pair in that size, which arrived two days later. You couldn't ask for better service.”

“What a great shopping experience! Last year I visited the shop in Newcastle, staff very patient and helpful as I tried in several pairs of trainers to get the right fit for my wide feet. No pressure whatsoever to buy, although I did purchase several pairs of injinji toe sock's that I love wearing. Recently I bought a couple of pairs of injinji socks from their online store, good price and fast delivery. I highly recommend Northern Runner. Thank you”

“Brilliant shoes! Was a bit worried ordering as had read other reviews saying the newer lone peaks weren’t wide toed or comfy, and that laces not long enough - but they are wide toed (perfect to progress to from vivos…love walking in barefoot shoes but seem to get injured running in them so these are the perfect solution…wide toe area but more support and padding underfoot!) and laces are long enough. Perfect for running the coastal paths! Thank you! I’m thrilled - wish I’d got them years ago”
