The technician didn't even look at the washing machine and said it couldn't be repaired after I mentioned the fault which I had already mentioned while booking online. I was charged for a visit that could've simply been a phone call.

horrible customer service, they hang up the phone just because what I was asking for they don't offer without any other explanation no even a goo bye. And the website says that they do everything they don't!

HI, As explained to you TWICE we dont offer advice on how to setup stacking kit over the phone! and recommended you to call the manufacturers where you bought the kit from. No where on our website we claimed that we offer this service! regards, North London Appliances
Booked an oven repair over the phone. Engineer called round as arranged and said “I have come to repair your washing machine” I told him it is not a washing machine, it is an oven and probably the fan heating element as I had already checked everything else myself. He opened the oven, switched it on and peered inside. Then told me he would need to order the part and his call out fee was £48. I refused to pay as he didn’t even test the heating element. If i said he was on site for 5 minutes that would be generous. I would definitely not recommend this company as my impression is that they are totally unprofessional and out to rip people off. The call centre that took my booking did not even ask for the make or model number of the oven, so how on earth could they repair an appliance when they do not even know who the manufacturer is?

Hi Dave, We sent the engineer to repair your oven. He checked your oven, found the fault and explained to you the part needed and that we need to order the part. We dont have a free callout and your complain is that you dont want to pay the callout fee!? Also for your info, all calls are recorded and you gave us the make and model of the oven. regards, North London Appliances
Called to arrange a repair man to repair my dishwasher. Man turned up, I told him the Error code was F14, the repair man without even opening the dishwasher says ' Oh you need a new pump'. I challenge him and ask him if he wanted to just hear the noise etc. His answer was both arrogant and patronising - ' I have been mending dishwashers for over 25 years!' He left asking me for £48 which I obviously had to pay. I then had to call Appliance Centre North London 2 times to chase the part, each time I received a curt and rude response saying that they could not locate the price yet. Thank goodness since I then called out a very reputable repair company ( whom I should have contacted in the first place) who actually opened the dishwasher and proceeded to remove an olive stone which had become lodged in the pump. And the machine was working again. I called Appliance North LondonCustomer Services to complain and of course no 'manager' has come back to me. A terrible experience - unprofessional and tantamount to negligent behaviour by the repair man. The least the company could do is refund the £48.

The worst service you can get. Very rude customer service that says offensive words, avoid answering your calls and emails to follow up on a simple report, no management to speak to or look after your concern. Take your money for job not done!

Called to ask if they could repair my oven. He said £80+vat and parts. I asked did they know if they could repair the fault and he said charge is £60+vat to check even if they can’t. Then put down phone on me.

The repairman was unbelievably rude and condescending. He arrived well outside the appointment slot on both occasions and was dismissive and rude when I asked about the charges. He said they were set by the office and nothing to do with him. He treated me like a "little woman" who didn't understand these sort of things. I found him intolerable and not a man I wanted to be alone in the house with. I will only call them again if the item breaks while under their guarantee. They also used an app to estimate how long your wait will be which was only location based so it told me how far away he was geographically which is of little use if he was still due to spend hours at his previous appointment. When I messaged to ask for an updated eta, which was a service offered on their chosen app, he chose not to respond. My advice is to steer clear of this company!

RUDE STAFF. I never booked an appointment with this company but received a text so I called to cancel. And the person on the phone said yes I’ll cancel it very abruptly then just hung up without letting me even finish talking. I called back as I wanted confirmation of this to show my landlord and the same person shouted down the phone saying it’s cancelled what part of cancelled don’t you understand? And all I wanted was a confirmation message to say this. Disgusting rude customer service, sort your staff and manners out.

super unprofessional sent an email saying the appointment would be booked at a specific time, nothing happened we waited in and no one showed called them and they said they had not confirmed the booking and they are fully booked for the next three weeks charletans avoid

Hung up on twice when asking about service advertised on website. I can understand that service are limited during covid but being hung up on is not great services. I will not be recommending the telephone customer service option number 4 to anyone in my family or buiness.

Hi Shareef, You called 3 times in less than 10 minutes and each time we replied with the same answer that we currently don't cover that service in your area. Not sure why you needed to call multiple times and ask the same question! The services are subject to availability and areas.

I couldn't get any service as the engineer couldn't find any parking space in my area. I don't understand how this is not factored in the price and the service. Every person who came for work before has always found a way to park in the alley. Not a very professional service.

The repair is not finished from January 2021 and is totally unacceptable. We are now coming into March 2021. I have received no update on the outstanding part ordered for the oven repair to be completed. Every time I call up for a status update the team are unable to advise on the timescales for the order part to be delivered or for the repair job to be complete. It has now been well over a month that I am unable to utilise the cooker or get the money back for half of the job being completed. Appalling service

Terrible customer service. I booked the service, then called to make sure it is good and I got both verbal and email confirmation. On the day of repair, nobody showed up. I contacted them and they said it is canceled in their system and there is not much they can do about it. They told me to wait and they will come back with a new possible time slot. When I called after a few hours they were rude and annoyed that I am bothering them and when I said it is not acceptable they just disconnected.

Hi Mr Lukasz Grochowski, You booked a repair for Smeg dishwasher repair for 21.01.2021 at 10:00 - 12:00 which we confirmed and sent you confirmation email, text and even tracking details and when the engineer was at your place you just told him that you cancelled the appointment although we didn't had any calls or emails from you regards cancellation! You booked the repair again for the next day and we didnt confirm it because of what happened and when you called us, we explained that to you and even asked you how did you cancel the previous booking as we had no record and your response was that the dishwasher started working and you didnt need an engineer! how do you expect us to send an engineer again?!
Engineer was not able to repair as you don’t deal with this specific kind of fridge even though I specified on order form that it is an F&P under counter integrated fridge. So very disappointed and your website should be clearer that you are very specific about what you can / can’t repair.

Extraordinarily rude operative. He was not interested in hearing what the problem was on the phone. All he kept saying was £80 diagnostic plus parts phone if your interested and hung up. Third rate company...STAY AWAY.
