About North Bikes:

We are a small, independent company, based in the North of England, specializing in bicycles for all the family, with an emphasis on kids’ bikes.

Bikes have been a passion of ours since the late 1970s when it all began from a small shop in Idle, Bradford, West Yorkshire.

We believe in the bicycle - it’s a health tool, a transport solution, and a sport. A bike can unite friends and family for enjoyable days out, or extract your full potential in racing.

Over the course of 200 years, bicycles have undergone many changes and have transformed the way we travel, exercise and enjoy ourselves.

Against the backdrop that our society is continually facing concerning health and transportation challenges, we see bikes as part of the solution to the nation’s problems.

North Bikes is committed to encouraging people to get out on their bikes and enjoy the benefits of cycling!

“I ordered a Frog Bike from North Bikes and was very impressed with the thoughtful and efficient service they provided. The overnight delivery was well communicated with a 2 hour window. They sent me a Frog Manual by Email, they included a checklist of parts in the box, additional assembly instructions and tools to do the job. Would not hesitate to recommend.”

“Absolutely fantastic. All the service of a proper shop, helpful, informative and patient (!) and completely thrilled with my childrens' new bikes. Very prompt free delivery and excellent instructions with a set of tools to do the final 4 assembly stages myself made the whole purchase a doddle. “Great bicycle and great company. We bought the one from B stock (with a little defect). The company called to made sure we are aware of of that. And we literally got the bicycle delivered the very next day - without extra charge. We also got email with manual and offer of any further advice if required.”

“Great service with a personal touch! We purchased a Frog bike. We were kept fully up to date with the shipping information and could pick the delivery date to suit us. The bike was received with full instructions as well as the tools to complete the build! “Bike was delivered quickly in good condition the price was very good. The only thing was the gears needed considerable adjustment when assembled to operate correctly.”

The gears should be correctly set up at the factory, but I suppose settings could get knocked out of adjustment during transit?
