About North Bikes:

We are a small, independent company, based in the North of England, specializing in bicycles for all the family, with an emphasis on kids’ bikes.

Bikes have been a passion of ours since the late 1970s when it all began from a small shop in Idle, Bradford, West Yorkshire.

We believe in the bicycle - it’s a health tool, a transport solution, and a sport. A bike can unite friends and family for enjoyable days out, or extract your full potential in racing.

Over the course of 200 years, bicycles have undergone many changes and have transformed the way we travel, exercise and enjoy ourselves.

Against the backdrop that our society is continually facing concerning health and transportation challenges, we see bikes as part of the solution to the nation’s problems.

North Bikes is committed to encouraging people to get out on their bikes and enjoy the benefits of cycling!

“Amazing service! I bought a B stock bike reduced in price due to chip on the fork dropout but you won't see it once the wheel nut is on. They was truly honest and made it out to be a bigger chip than it actually was and I was so pleasantly surprised I even rang them up and said thank you and how happy I was with the bike. I will definitely be returning to buy another Forme kids bike when my daughters out grow these bikes.”

“Needed a frog bike for the daughter. Had a look at a few websites but just got a feel with the north bikes website that I was going to the right shop if you know what I mean. The bike was one of the cheapest around which is always a good thing for us customers after all. Was a bit sceptical about delivery only taking a couple of days from purchase but true to word the bike was ready for dispatch before i even had chance to close the website from my browser lol it was that speedy. I noticed a Saturday delivery option after purchase so requested that , which was no problem at all and free! This is a bonus and absolute to us working kind that cannot afford to sit around all day waiting for the delivery man. Bike turned up on the Saturday no probs and I was also given a 2 hour delivery time the night before. North bikes is the best and I’d recommend purchasing from the boys.”

“After placing the order i was unsure if the bike was too big, so I emailed them that evening with my daughters height easurements. Received a response thar same evening (so out of their working hours) to confirm the smaller size would be more suited. They changed the order and sent the smaller bike which arrived 2 days later along with a refund of the price difference. Above and beyond customer service and they clearly are not about taking your money to suggest a smaller and cheaper bike.”

“Purchased a Forme Harpur 14 for my 4 year old, excellent customer service they spotted a defect on the bike so delayed delivery until a new one was sourced. Easy to build and very lite weight, also received tools and a tyre pump which was convenient. Only downside was APC couriers that knocked on the door and dashed before I could answer had to collect myself the day after. I’d advise collecting the bike directly from North Bikes in Bradford.”

“Fantastic experience! The checklist, and supplied tools?! Went further than expected. Delivery, packaging and the whole experience was most excellent! Given that I found them via Google and didn't check reviews I wasn't expecting things to be so excellent. My son really loves his new bike! (A small note for further purchases, a bit more instructions on how to fix the mudguards on would be nice a cherry on top! There are two different ones and the fixings initially looked a bit different.)”
