NordicTrack FreeStride FS7i broke down within 1st week after delivery. My video on this issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eznFiRBQgsY Right side pivot joint locked on the frame. Incline engine barely worked, also when using the trainer it vibrated abnormal and sounded weird with bumping sounds on every step. Incline engine started getting very hot. Called in trainer's specialist, he diagnosed manufacturing fault on the right side pivot joint part sitting on the frame and increased it's inner hole diameter (part number 75) to let it move freely. Also the iFit chest heart rate monitor belt was not working (DOA), which they asked to send in and promised to send a new replacement. Took 2 hours to inspect and another 5 hours for specialists to take the trainer apart, repair the manufacturing fault and put everything back up again. What they did: took almost all parts completely apart, took part number 75 (pivot joint seen in the pictures) off the frame with a special press tool, removed metal shavings (most of the fault is on them and the poor quality control of NordicTrack who lets them be close to the joint so they can easily get int between frame and pivot joint), cleaned the frame place where pivot joint sits, then grinded the pivot joint's inner hole to increase it's diameter as they indicated it was wrong size according to the frame piece where it is sitting on in the 1st place, it was dead locked in the position. Then they mounted all the parts together and voila, no more hot incline engine, no more bumping sound when pedaling and no more vibrations, just a smooth ride just like NordicTrack ad states - 'like floating'. They indicated if this would not be repaired now, the incline engine would have burn out within couple next days if I continued to use the FreeStrider (just like for the people seen in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2kQ9AIrDFU ) and let me touch it after couple of tests, it was burning hot, my laser thermometer showed over 80 degrees of Celsius just after going from 0 incline to 10 and back to 0. While after repairs have been completed it was room temperature after 6 times going up and down all the way. 350 euro loss on 1 week old FreeStride FS7i trainer repairs and NordicTrack declined monetary compensation even thought it was 1 week after delivery and the specialists who repaired my FreeStride trainer indicated it was manufacturing fault. All in all it is very hard to rate the trainer itself, when there are manufacturing and quality assurance issues straight out of box and you even don't get a proper fast response from customer support and when you ask to compensate all you get is a decline.

Alas, I have had wto of your Skiers and their beautiful dark wood finish in the past but the one I recently bought and only today was able to open the box to find to my great disappointment that its wood finish is a horrible light yellowish colour and nothing like the pictures in your Skier section of your website. Accordingly you are making very efficient arrangements to collect it and refuund the £599.00.

I am confused by all the programmes and cannot find out what is in them and there are no levels. So that has put me off using them.

Hello Cressida, its Josh from NordicTrack. Thank you for your review. Our programmes that are built in the machines are based on calorie, intensity and performance. You are able to scroll through the programmes and the console will show what each one will offer. For example one programme could be a short duration incline programme. If need any assistance please feel free to contact NordicTrack.

Our old treadmill finally gave up after 10 years service and we bought another. It's similar but has been updated, with better display and programs. The Ifit connection is very useful.

Quality of product is good, but the accessories tray cannot be fitted as the pins do not locate in the pre-drilled holes on the body of the bike. Still struggling to get this matter resolved.

Great value machine (Treadmill C700) and good delivery - make sure that you are happy that you can get the parcel upstairs, if necessary - we have worked it all out so that was fine but you may want to pay for an upstairs delivery of you're not sure!

In order to take products upstairs we advise to take the parts out of the box and take it up part-by-part however if the box can fit you may need another pair of hands to do so. X9i Incline Trainer Motor had a spark and tripped the power. Clearly can see the spark from the motor coming out which was on the back side on the treadmill. Might be a hazardous in some extreme cases if power doesn't trip. Machine was good but bulky and will occupy a big space. Need at least 2 person to assemble and move it.

The machine even though it's bigger than we thought is comfortable to walk and run on and we had no problems hooking up to a virgin router
