About Nibble & Gnaw:

Everyone involved in Nibble & Gnaw is a pet owner. And we all want the same thing: our pets to be happy and healthy. That’s our mission. It's the reason we founded the business.

We all know that diet is the most important thing for keeping small animals happy and healthy, and that forage should make up about 90% of their diet.

One day, whilst complaining about the poor quality of hay being sold, one of our friends said: "You know the hay I take into the Middle East for their thorough-breds? What about bringing that in to the UK for rabbits and guinea pigs?"

And that's how Nibble & Gnaw got started!

“One of my bunnies has a really sensitive stomach despite always buying good quality hay. 1st and 2nd cut from here has been brilliant, bunny is eating it all the time, can tell a real difference in the amount they are eating, it goes a long way too.”

“I decided to try the trial box of 1st and 2nd cut hay. That was a really good size. I have to say my rabbits loved it. I chose to mix the hay and offer them both. Often I throw away a lot of hay either through not being eaten or really dusty. In three days their poop had also changed to a more golden colour which I was really pleased about. Have I changed ? Yes indeed I have.”

“Both bunnies are enjoying this, and have been in the box if I don't serve it quickly enough! So lovely to have hay without dust, as one of my bunnies has breathing issues so this is really important. Second cut seems to be the favourite.”

“My guinea pig is being a bit funny when it comes to eating. He was never a huge lover of hay but as I’m suspecting (and the vet) something may be wrong with his tooth I decided getting a better hay to try my luck. I got the 1st cut but he didn’t like that much, so I wrote the company and they sent me the 2nd cut. I’ve been trying my best with my guinea pig and I’m glad nibble & gnaw is supporting me too. Who helped me was Stephen Rysbergen-Harris by the way! I’m a happy customer and I’ll defo be buying again”

“My bunny's do enjoy your hay very much, that being said there is a fair amount of dust and once I get to the last quarter of the bag I do have to throw a lot of the hay out. I'm happy to pay extra for good quality hay but it feels wasteful throwing away so much of the hay given the price I'm paying for it.”

“Hay arrived in great time and we received a good tester quantity of both cuts for the cost. The hay was fresh and well packaged. Caliga definitely favoured the second cut hay, but quite happily devoured both.”
