About Nibble & Gnaw:

Everyone involved in Nibble & Gnaw is a pet owner. And we all want the same thing: our pets to be happy and healthy. That’s our mission. It's the reason we founded the business.

We all know that diet is the most important thing for keeping small animals happy and healthy, and that forage should make up about 90% of their diet.

One day, whilst complaining about the poor quality of hay being sold, one of our friends said: "You know the hay I take into the Middle East for their thorough-breds? What about bringing that in to the UK for rabbits and guinea pigs?"

And that's how Nibble & Gnaw got started!

“My guinea pigs just LOVE IT! I have the subscription and it is incredibly helpful to have the box just come automatically! Specially if you are a forgetful person like me, so your guinea pigs will never be missing it. The costumer support is also incredibly helpful. The only time that I had an issue they solved it REALLY FAST. The only thing I would say to improve to be PERFECT, is if they packed it directly in a cardboard box with eassy cut windows so they could eat directly from it instead of the work of taking it out of the plastic bags. But for sure I totally recommend it!”

“My piggies love their 2nd cut nibble and gnaw hay so much better than the best brands from pet shops! It's so fresh and green and so glad I came across it. The fresh flower /herb mixes are great too. Thank you nibble and gnaw for helping keep my piggies happy and healthy xx”

“My 2 spoilt house rabbits are very fussy and since trying Nibble and Gnaw during the pandemic they turn their nose up at any other hay, their favourite is the 2nd cut and yes it is more expensive than the hay you purchase in supermarkets etc but it is far superior with very little dust . My bunnies recommend Nibble and Gnaw Timothy Hay . Also purchased the mixed herbs which went down a bit too well ,Biscuit and Damson have a cage each for their litter trays and hay but run free so when the bag of herbs arrived I mixed some into their hay then left the bag on top of Biscuits cage silly me when I looked the next morning he had jumped onto the top of his cage and ripped the bag open and helped himself .I haven't made that mistake again they are kept in a rabbit proof box .”

“This is the only place I buy Hay from for my Rabbit because I consider it to be the best available in the UK. If you ever have any questions the staff are very helpful. My Rabbit always enjoys the hay in this case mainly the First cut variety. Shipping normally takes just two days to England and they have handy options to automatically ship at your chosen interval which saves a little on the cost too.”

“I have tried different brands in the past but this is by far the best. The hay is really high quality and my rabbit loves it. After having digestive problems in the past, I needed to increase the amount of hay in her diet and the 1st cut hay is now her main food every day.”

“I have been buying this beautiful green, gorgeous smelling hay now for a while, I get it by monthly subscription. My 13 piggies are so happy with it, and if they're happy, then I'm happy 😊 this is a great Company to buy from, I would very highly recommend them to all hay munching pets parents. “My bunny loves 2nd cut Timothy, I buy it on repeat direct from Nibble & Gnaw and from Amazon, bun also loves the bags of dried flowers. I've had great customer service from Elaine who answered my emails when I asked for advice on sizes of hay boxes.”

“Starting using this website for my bunny’s hay as she wasn’t eating her previous brand. She absolutely loves this hay, I order the best of both 1st and 2nd cut as she likes a variety. I have also purchased the dandelions which she also loves. Would recommend this brand of hay to anyone who has a bunny or Guinea pig. I have a subscription set up which works really well and easy to amend the length between deliveries which I had to do recently. Overall, a brilliant brand of hay and I will continue to use :)”

“Amazing customer support. Any questions have been answered quickly and fully. Above and beyond! My Guinea Pigs won’t eat any other hay and, even though they are grumpy things, they popcorn most mornings when they smell the hay. We have the second cut. I must admit that they do filter out the thicker pieces. Can’t fault the quality of the green hay that is without mountains of dust and bits at the bottom like others. We tried a lower price one but worked out more expensive as it didn’t get eaten! Easy to alter the next delivery when on a subscription as the email comes through to say that you are near the next delivery. It’s just a click in a link to delay or bring the date forward - no messing!”

“When my bunny started getting out of the baby phase, she just didn’t want the cheap hay any more. A friend told me about nibble & gnaw. & we haven’t looked back since! She absolutely loves it & wont eat anything else. Only thing I’d say is oof this hay is pricey!”
