I am pleased with my purchase.. They were delivered promptly how ever I was disappointed that I did not receive my PD reading for my future use which when I asked if they would send the information to me they said that they would do so.

This was a shambles from start to finish. Discount code not honoured. Unable to log in to my account online, in spite of them having confirmed my email and password. New Lenses not bothering to pick up my glasses from the Post Office for over a week after having been notified. Not getting back to me for nearly a week after I phoned them about this. The glasses, which eventually arrived back to me after re-glazing, are worse than my previous pair. I took them to an independent opticians for measuring on a focimeter and they tell me the left lens is -0.50. I had ordered -0.25. A complete waste of money as far as I'm concerned.

Dear Krys, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on our service. However, I do feel some of your comments are unfair and/or incorrect: 1. A discount code was never issued to you, but we would have been happy to apply a discount if you had asked us. 2. The issue with delivery was with Royal Mail, not us. Royal Mail made a mistake delivering the packet to the wrong address and subsequently we didn't receive a "while you were out" card. 3. We kept in constant email contact with you to keep you updated. 4. Regarding your lenses, it's very difficult for an optician to take an accurate reading off a lens within +/-0.25. A small difference can be influenced by many factors - such as using the exact lens centre to take the measurement and the calibration of the equipment. Lens centres are marked when the lens is new but an optician would not have this available in retrospect. In fact, our lab supplies many high street opticians and I assure you that the quality of the lenses we use is of the highest standard (usually Essilor or Kodak lenses). 5. We offer a full no-quibble money back guarantee and we have already refunded you in full. I'm sorry again that you were unhappy with our service and please let me know if we can help you with anything else in the future. Kind regards, Adam

I posted my frames on the Monday, and both pairs arrived back 8 days later (Tuesday), including one with transitions lenses. Fit is excellent. Very happy.

I was "warned" by a Specs company not to get them, that they wouldn't fit, etc,... but how wrong they were! Their glasses had to be returned but not my wonderful Newlenses ones ( which were 1/3 of their price!). Thank you, thank you, thank you! Great in every respect!

I sent my new frames for reglazing along with a pair of my current glasses so that Newlenses could take the measurements for my varifocals. I received my new glasses within 8 days and I am delighted. My new glasses are perfect and so reasonably priced. I will definitely use Newlenses again and would recommend them to anyone. They cost half the price of my local optician. Thank you Newlenses and a big thank you to Adam for his speedy response to my initial enquiry.

I used Newlenses in the hope that my prescription would be a quick turn around for replacement lenses. I wasn't so lucky as it took 11 days, not including the Bankholiday Monday. I selected the 'Bronze' package for single vision which means, 1.5 index optical lenses with Scratch resistant, Anti-reflective, UV filter coating and added No Tint. (One stage up from the basic package) I didn't receive an email to let me know my glasses had arrived with them safely, so I had to call a few times to be informed that they are being prossesd. On four occasions I didn't receive a call back in relation to how far down the prosses they were. Only an email to thank me for my call and informing me they would get back to me. They never did reply to any calls or emails. So I'm a little disappointed in that part of the customer service. Hence the rant. Having said that, everyone was very polite on the phone and professional with their emails. But you lose faith after chasing so many times. Would I use Newlenses again? Yes, as the quality of the lenses appears to be good and they were returned well packaged in a free glasses case that I didn't expect, as I sent them originally with out one. Value for money can not be argued against. I just think I'll go with the flow next time and put my faith in the fact that they have received them and will get them back to me within two weeks.

I put in my order for my sunglasses on an evening, and received confirmation of my prescription being received within an hour. From posting my old glasses to receiving my reglazed ones took just over a week and a half. I was really impressed with the speed of the service, and it was great to be able to track the progress of the order throughout. The new lenses are perfect, and give a new lease of life to a favourite old pair of glasses. Quick, good value and excellent service!
